LIFE OF SIDDHARTHA
-Siddhartha was a prince who grew up in luxury.
-He was born in 563 BC in northern India, near the Himalayas.
-He reach the age of 30 before he left his family and began his journey to
-Siddhartha wanted to free his mind from daily concerns .
-he did not give up instead he became more determined to find answer he was looking for.
TEACHING-FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS
1.Suffering and unhappiness are a part of human life. No one can escape sorrow
2.Suffering comes from our desires for pleasure and material goods. People cause their own misery because they want things they cannot have.
3. People can overcome desire and ignorance and reach Nirvana a state of perfect peace. Reaching nirvana frees the soul from suffering and from the need for further reincarnation.
4. People can overcome ignorance and desire by following an eight fold path that leads to wisdom, enlightenment, and salvation

-Right Livelihood
-Right Effort
-Right Mindfulness
-Right Concentration
RIGHT THOUGH
Believe in the nature of existence as suffering and in the Four Noble Truths.
Clear and kind thoughts build good , and some characters.
RIGHT INTENT
Incline toward goodness and kindness. Intent
RIGHT SPEECH
Avoid lies and gossip. Talk with a purpose without hurting people -When somebody is talking to someone
else politely and with a purpose.By peaking kind and respectful words, we are
respected and trusted by everyone.
RIGHT ACTION
Don’t steal from or harm others.
RIGHT LIVELIHOOD
Reject work that hurts others. This means
RIGHT EFFORT
Prevent evil and do good. Not wasting effort on thing that harm
ourselves and others. Doing our best at all times and having good
will toward others.
RIGHT MINDFULNESS
Control your feelings and thoughts. Being aware of our thoughts, words, and
deeds.
RIGHT CONCENTRATION
Practice proper meditation. Focus on one thought or object at a time.
