Whether it is attending daily minyans, weekly Shabbat, or Yom Tov services, having your children attend our schools and our camp, celebrating lifecycle events, or increasing your own Jewish literacy, we and so many others share a love for this remarkable and dynamic place we fondly call BT. It is a place where we have watched your children grow and flourish, and also a place where we have provided comfort to one another. It is a place of joy and a place of inspiration. And there is truly no place we’d rather be.

Our loyal and generous Annual Campaign supporters are the true heroes of the Beth Tfiloh family. Especially in today’s economic climate, asking for

donations to support the day-to-day operations of both a school and a synagogue can be quite challenging. But, once again, Beth Tfiloh parents, synagogue members, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, friends, and extending family members have risen to the occasion and have helped to raise a total of over $700,000 for the 2014–2015 year.

The Annual Campaign is critical to meet our mission and commitment to our core values because only a portion of the School’s and Congregtion’s budgets are covered by sources of operating revenue. Gifts to the Annual Campaign help Beth Tfiloh maintain its exemplary programming, such as an outstanding education for its children, daily religious services, incomparable personal attention from its clergy, professional development for its teachers, exceptional athletics, and creative arts programming and much more. n

The 2014-2015 Alumni Campaign surpassed its goal of securing 250 gifts to support Beth Tfiloh’s scholarships, athletics and creative arts programs, and the senior trip to Israel. Under the leadership of the Alumni Council Chair, Lisa (Miliman) Diamond ’00, and the Alumni Council Development Chair, Jackie Fuchs ’00, the Alumni Campaign successfully raised over $34,000 from 260 alumni participants. yad b’yad (Hand in Hand) is a support system for Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. Services and grants are provided to families, teachers, and staff struggling with unforeseen challenges. Support may come in the form of meals, carpool help, gift cards for groceries and gas, and other aid. To assure privacy, all Yad B’Yad grants are allocated in strict confidence. the chazak campaign was established to strengthen Beth Tfiloh and ensure its future viability by securing at least $15 million to address major strategic needs for the Congregation, School and Camp. Thanks to our most loyal and generous donors, the Chazak Campaign has exceeded its goal, raising over $18 million dollars and involving more than 120 families in this historic effort to ensure a strong Beth Tfiloh for generations to come. We especially thank Chazak Campaign Chairs Steve Hurwitz and Mark Neumann who, along with the entire Chazak Campaign Committee, provided invaluable leadership and vision for the Campaign.

The funds raised through the Chazak Campaign give Beth Tfiloh the long-term financial stability to continue to attract top clergy and faculty, to offer outstanding Jewish programming, to maintain its magnificent facility, and to make Jewish life more accessible and more affordable.
