Since its creation, the rate of unsafe sleep-related deaths was reduced by 50%. Served on the Circuit 4 implementation team for the Child Welfare Safety Methodology Led the effort to open a health clinic at the Schell-Sweet Community Center that wi ll reduce health

Directed operations for ACCESS (economic self-sufficiency), Adult Protective Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health programs, and Community Relations. Led a team of 250-275 employees.

Chaired the Champions Interagency Team which developed solutions for difficult child welfare cases. Served on the Foster Care Redesign Team which led to a 60% reduction in children in out of home care. Served on the Region Adult Protective Services Redesign Team (chaired the Circuit 4 team); Education

Interagency Team for the three Circuit 4 counties; Region Quality Council. Managed the development and implementation of the Circuit’s Child Abuse Prevention Plan. Re-engineered ACCESS operations, reducing application backlog to its lowest historical level and

improved performance on all key indicators including a reduction in average days to process benefits from 19 to 13 days during a time when applications for benefits increased by more than 40%.

Created the ACCESS Transition Unit to prepare new workers and improve the work of veteran workers, reducing the average time for new staff to be able to handle full caseloads from 10 to 5 months.
