Celebrating Western Heritage and the Cowboy SpiritEvents Held at the Casa Grande Rodeo Grounds

Saturday & Sunday Feb. 19 & 20 - Team RopingSat. - Open Draw & #13 -- Sun. #9 Pick and Draw w/Buckles

Estimated 250-300 teams each day, along with family, assistants and spectators for 1,000 - 1,250 total peopleFree event for specators. Proceeds to benefi t the Casa Grande Rodeo Grounds improvements.

Wednesday Feb. 23 - Mike Cervi Jr. Memorial Pro Classic Team RopingCelebrating 29 years as a world class team roping event. Benefi ts the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund with $111,000 donated to date.

Estimated 250 teams and 1,000 spectators. The Cervi Roping has a large following of fans as it is known for attracting the top ropers in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Monday Feb. 21 - Maple Leaf ClassicHonoring the Canadians who winter in the Casa Grande area.Open to Canadian ropers only. Warm-Up Roping #11 handicapped. “Melting Pot Roping” #13 with #11 and #9 incentives. Buckles to average winners in all 3 categories.Estimated 300 - 400 teamsExpected 800-1,000 spectators, including RV groups, senior groups. Will be promoting heavily to this audience.

Tuesday Feb. 22 - Three USTRC Ropings:Cruel Girls Roping - 9:00 AMA stop on the Cruel Girls schedule featuring the top women ropers in the nation. Open for shcool groups.

This will be a big day for spectators all day long.

Friday Feb. 25 - Golden RopersA day of roping for seniors.50+ #12 cap @ #760+ #11 cap @ #6125 combo cap @ #12 Estimated 450 teamsThis day will be a big draw for seniors and winter visitors.

Saturday & Sunday Feb. 26 & 27 - Ranch RodeoFun for the whole family. The cowboys and their ranch horses compete in four team events: stray gathering, wild cow milking, calf branding, and trailer loading. There will also be a saddle bronc individual competition. Buckles, prizes, money & calcutta reward the top teams and individuals. Chuckwagon grub will be served.Expected 1,500 - 2,000 spectators each day.The crowd will enjoy action, excitement, thrills, and laughs in a wholesome environment as they cheer for their favorite teams.

Thursday Feb. 24 - Barrel Race

Estimated 200 barrel racers, along with family, assistants and spectators for a total of 800 people.Free event for spectatorsProceeds will benefi t Central AZ College Rodeo Team Scholarship
