Amélie de Gaulle began what has become a long and successful décor career in her native Paris, France. Spending her formative years traveling Europe and nurtured by a family whose influence extends deeply into French government, business and artistic circles, she developed a keen sense of observation, excellent communication skills and a unique and diverse aesthetic sensibility. De Gaulle is a graduate of Camondo University in Paris and has a Masters Degree in Interior Architecture and Environment Products. Since 1984, she has been professionally associated in France and in the US with successful design firms, managing projects for her own international clientele. Amélie is well regarded and highly appreciated for her professionalism, innovative artistic talent, and extensive knowledge of art history and architecture. She currently specializes as an organic design consultant in residential projects, working on homes from the concept phase through construction to the finished interior decoration. Her personal academic experience with drawing and oil painting influences her vision of the living space with composition, light, depth, texture and color to create harmonious contemporary homes.
