    James Keefe:

MOO is an online print and design company with a vision to help all businesses, big and small, look their best. They believe that design works wonders and really matters in business.

All sizes of businesses and all industries, ranging from fashion and creative, to food and drink, to health and fitness. One thing unites them all: an appreciation for what quality products and great design can achieve.

To create a visual representation of Design Works Wonders, bringing it to life through what ever format.

Visual Design that represents Design Works Wonders.

  • Reference Imagery

Identity: Moo already has a strong visual identity so we wanted to create something a little different, rather than digital designs. In the brief it says the company want to be portrayed as fun and playful whilst still appealing to a wide variety of people.

    Extended Practice Submission 22/06/15James Keefe:

Research: We decided to create the images using paper techniques and photography. This meant we had to research stock and experiment with different methods to find out what style best fit with the MOO identity.

Concept: To visually represent design works wonders, we came up with the concept of using the form of the banana to represent design, the peeling of the banana shows design working, and the final stage, design working wonders with a banana split.

  • Construction

    Extended Practice Submission 22/06/15James Keefe:

Process: We designed the scene digitally at the start then laser-cut the details out of coloured card. To construct the scene we layered the card at different heights to create depth and photographed from above. The images were then edited and the type added digitally.
