General clause in its currently valid form: „Buildings must be constructed in such a way that fires and smoke are prevented from starting and spreading. In the event of a fire the construction of the building must also enable effective fire-fighting and fire-extinguishing prcedures and enable humans and animals to be rescued.“

Basic principles of building supervision.

Page 5: Brandgennemføringer

• Model building regulation (MBO)• State building regulations (LBO)

• Technical building regulations and norms:• DIN EN 1363, DIN EN 1364, DIN 4102• MLAR, LAR, RbALei• Supplementary regulations (z. B. KhBauVO,

MVStättV, MvkVO, MschulbauR, MidBauRL)

Training courses and processing regulations for sealings.

• Processing regulations for craftsmen carrying out the work (a lot of training is needed)

• On-site stirring and processing of auxiliary materials

Page 29: Brandgennemføringer

• insufficient filling depths

• create a bulge

• takes a long time

• unclear processing

• reworking in some cases

• faulty processing

• large number of different components

• a lot of training needed

• retrofitting is difficult

Disadvantages of today’s sealings.

Page 30: Brandgennemføringer
