A family heritage of Lebanese, Syrian and Italian ancestry, a Latin American upbringing, European schooling, and a vast array of global travels are the cornerstone of Daniella Kronfle’s design vision.

She infuses every piece with a blend of substance and elegance for the woman who wears it with joyful sophistication in a mélange of hues sapphires, rubies, tiger eye, diamonds and such.

Daniella earned a degree in Jewelry Design at the Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Firenze and a degree in French Civilization and Languages at La Sorbonne Paris. She is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Along with world renowned jewelry houses such as Chopard, Cartier and de Grisogono her designs have been showcased in two books Jewelry International I & II by connoisseur Caroline Childers.

Daniella’s has been present in international fashion and art events such as the Academy Awards Oscars, Emmy Awards, Latin Grammys, Miami Fashion Week, Latin Billboards, and international press such as Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, CNN, Hola, among others.

Daniella resides in Miami.

her design brand.

Daniella Kronfle, 39, is fascinated by unusual pairings. From interesting color combinations to unexpected choices of stones, the jewelry designer seeks to give whoever dons her baubles beautiful but contrasting looks that intrigue

the eye. “My style is absolutely about the dualism of the Latin American woman,” she says. “Strong and yet very elegant, glamorous yet bold.” Born and raised in Ecuador, Kronfle grew up in her mother’s jewelry stores and remembers attending trade shows alongside her mother and being exposed to both the design and business sides of the industry at an age when most of her friends were still playing with Barbies. She went on to study jewelry design at the prestigious Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Florence, Italy,

and eventually earned her gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America. After working five years as the head designer of her mother’s

business, Kronfle branched out on her own, moving to Miami 15 years ago to start her brand. Today, Kronfle’s jewels (which range from $2,500 gold rings to over-the-top $35,000 diamond earrings) have graced the ears and digits of celebrities and artists (too exclusive to mention) on red carpets all over

the world. That’s why it wasn’t a surprise when she was recently asked to be the vice chair of this past April’s New Yorkers for Children gala, which paid tribute to the late designer Oscar de la Renta and at which event organizers and many attendees wore Kronfle’s carat creations. “To see your design and

all your efforts being recognized is amazing,” she says. “It’s what gives me the thrill for the future and keeps me doing what I love.” daniellakronfle.com

Era el tipo de niña que sabría distinguir los tonos de oro a la dis-tancia, y nunca confundiría el ónix con la piedra de luna.

“Tuve una infancia muy distinta a la de mis amigas –confie-sa la joven diseñadora, mientras se recupera con un té de menta de una noche de fiesta en la Gran Manzana–. Mi madre tenía su taller de alhajas en el segundo piso de nuestra casa y todas las tardes de mi vida las pasé allí”.

A Kronfle los medios la llaman “la joya de la corona de Ecua-dor”, y, a los 33 años, es la joyera por excelencia de su país de origen. Pero va por más. Su boutique en Miami se volvió de rigor para toda la nueva generación de VIP latinoamericanas, y ahora está en pleno proceso de expansión con la futura apertura de su flagship store en la afamada sección de lujo Miami Design District. ¿Su secreto? “Primero ver a la joyería como parte del mundo de la moda, estar muy atenta a las tendencias sin creer que uno diseña en el vacío. Y segundo, tomar conciencia de que, antes, las gran-des joyas se usaban para ocasiones excepcionales y se devolvían a la caja fuerte del banco. Pero hoy las mujeres son ejecutivas,
