You can also choose the menu path Accounting Financial Accounting Accounts Receivable Document Entry Payment Fast Entry ( Transaction code – F-26) by which you go to the screen INCOMING PAYMENTS FAST ENTRY. Similar data as in the following steps may be filled in.

PROCEDURAL STEPS1.1 Access transaction by :

Via Transaction Code F-28

1.2. On screen POST INCOMING PAYMENTS : HEADER DATA, enter the following:

Document Type R Enter appropriate document type; in the instant case, it is DZ, which means

Currency/rate

Currency/Exchange Rate O Select Currency from the Popup list (by default, INR comes) Enter the exchange rate. If no specific exchange rate is given, the system will take the latest average rate from the Exchange rate table maintained. Also, the exchange rate table is to be updated daily based on Mecklai Report etc.

Translation date

Translation date O If the Foreign Currency is to be converted to INR based on the rate of a particular day, the relevant date is to be given and the system will pick up the rate relevant to such date.

Trading Partner BA

Trading Partner Business Area

Business Area of the Trading Partner; not presently used

Bank Account

Bank Account number R Enter the account number.

Amount Amount R Enter the amount.Bank charges

Bank charges O Enter the bank charges amount if any.

1.3. Press the button PROCESS OPEN ITEM to advance to the next screen POST INCOMING PAYMENTS : PROCESS OPEN ITEMS. Press the Icon SELECT ALL and press the button INACTIVE.

If we are getting part payment, click part payment and select the line item against which we want to adjust. Click on the payment amount . The amount received will be displayed.

1.4. Select the items to be cleared by placing the cursor on the respective documents. If there is some amount left out after selecting the documents, take the menu path GO TO RESIDUAL PAYMENTS, place the cursor on the document which can be adjusted and double click by which the amount entered and the amount allocated against various documents are the same.

1.5 Save the document .
