Many of you know we lost a couple of our bowfishing family this spring, and I can’t stress the importance of wearing a PDF. Now I’m as guilty as the next guy or was anyhow but with age comes a certain amount of reflection. The last thing I ever want to happen is to have the police show up at my house and tell my wife and kids that there was an accident and I won’t be coming home. Especially when it could have been easily prevented. Now I know it’s difficult to bowfish with a standard PDF on but there are good alternatives to the bulky cheap life preservers out there. There not all cheap but you have to ask yourself is your life worth $100? Because thats all the instant inflatable PDF’s cost. And if you don’t have the money or you can’t shoot with PDF on, please! Please!! wear a life vest while the big motor is running. Nobody thinks it will happen to them, or they think they can swim just fine so they don’t need a PDF. Well you couldn’t be further from the truth. The truth is things happen and usually in the blink of an eye! Next thing you know you trying to swim to the surface, possibly in bitter cold water, maybe with heavy clothes on or heavy boots and then it’s too late to try to dig a life jacket out of a storage compartment as the boat is going down, or is already sunk. Do it for your friends, do it for your family, wear a PDF and use common sense out there because it’s not always just about you. Let’s all make it home this season.

Letter From The Prez

Well, here it is again, another season of bowfishing upon us with lots of rain in some parts of the country, and great fishing in others! 2012 proved to be a great year with members working different venues promoting bowfishing such as expo's, youth events, and booths set up at various locations throughout the country. Ironman bowfishing has gone a long way in helping show viewers what bowfishing is really about, and you guys are there on the ground able and willing to help people get set up and enjoy the sport! For this I applaud you guys!I also want to thank the bowfishing community for stepping up and supporting the families of Matt Buroker, and Ryan Dowdell after their tragic accident during an event this year. Please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers. This does show how important safety is on the waters and it does not take much to turn a fun night out into a disastrous one. Please try to keep your life jackets available while out there this year. There has been other horrific events with tornado's this year, and again bowfishermen have jumped in. Again, I applaud you and your efforts for volunteering and helping where needed. Hopefully the remainder of the year will be less traumatic and more enjoyable! The sport is growing more and more every year, and we are going to have to stay diligent with policing ourselves as a community with fish dumping and negatives in the public eye. I know most within the community for any length of time knows the ramifications, but the new folks just getting into bowfishing may not realize the overall perception this causes. I also know you guys are doing a great job with informing the public of the issues it causes, and I say do not let it discourage you when you come across it. It does have an impact every time you educate a new person with the results of doing what;s right whether you realize it or not.I hope that everyone has a great rest of the year with your rigs holding together, and waters clearing up, as well as numerous fish wherever you may go! If you need to contact me, please feel free, but again, calling is the fastest way to reach me....(501)730-3169.

Sincerely,Mark W. Lee

Arkansas Big Buck Classic 2013

Over the past 4 years, the Bowfishing Association of America and the Bowfishers of Arkansas along with Randy Woodward with the Youth Bowfishing Worlds have been working with the Arkansas Big Buck Classic which will be held from January 25-January 27, 2013 with educating both kids and adults to the world of bowfishing. Randy brings his fish tank down to Little Rock, Arkansas and some of his guys to help set up and host the event. On average we have had over 3,000 kids come through and shoot at the gar targets and rings over the 3 day period. The best part of this is it's all free! We have consistently had the only thing offered there free for both kids and adults, and Catherine at the BBC has throughly enjoyed having us come to help with the education of the bowfishing! They allow us our own spot every year, and also help with any accomidations we may need to host this, including a free spot to set up! The Bowfishing tank has been one of the hottest things there over the years with multiple opportunites for us to be allowed to sell bowfishing supplies, although we have

not. We have however led potential bowfishermen and women to places where they can order supplies or get it locally. It has turned out to be a great way to get the word out about bowfishing, and again one of the more popular things at their event! Any local or state club who may be interested in doing one at their state could use this format to get folks involved with the education and sport if they so desire. We are also their contact to anything bowfishing related when asked at through the BBC. We had one group try to get them to pay over $1,000.00 to come set up and do what we do for free for the most part, but with one phone call to us from the BBC, they realized that for free they already had it. We take no compensation from them which gives us a better working relationship with the BBC, and we help each other with anything to help make it go off without a hitch! If your in the Little Rock, Arkansas area during the end of January, stop by and see us.....we'll be the ones with the bowfishing rigs set up outside!ARKANSAS BIG BUCK CLASSICFRIDAY JANUARY 25TH - SUNDAY JANUARY 27TH, 2013.for more details about it go to www.arkansasbigbuckclassic.com or find them on facebook!

RPM OCTANE BOOST

Similar in design to the popular Super Charger, the Octane’s twin 1 3/8-inch swept barbs stay stationary. Just push, unscrew the body, and you’re back in action.

• 100 Percent stainless steel construction• Hardened bullet tip resists deformation and increases

penetration• Conical tip virtually eliminates flat-surface planing• Stationary twin 1 3/8 swept barbs hold fish tight without

impeding penetration• Dual friction ring design

Every point in the APS sports a conical “bullet” tip made of incredibly tough stainless steel hardened to 62 Rockwell. Bullet/conical tips eliminate the planing that sometimes occurs with traditional chisel style tips, and No Plane means Better Accuracy. Rocks? Not a problem for these tips. Each APS point features either a single or double (dual) friction ring designed to both secure the tip and body to the ferrule, as well as to prevent spin-offs when targeting larger fish.

After tons of research with bowfishing veterans we designed the TrueWarm line. We fished over nearly every LED light available on the market and with no surprise we came up short. What it took was a little southern know how and some willingness to open our pockets a little. The end result is a light that is unlike anything you have ever experienced with LED technology before. If you think you have seen it all... you're in for a surprise.

We run these on our custom airboat and wear them proudly. Still don't believe in them? Schedule a meeting and come see for yourself!

As  I  am  sure  many  of  you  know  me  but  for  those  that  don’t,  I  have  been  involved  with  the  BAA  since  1990  and  a  state  rep  for  the  last  few  years  for  the  North  GA  area.    I  have  enjoyed  a  wonderful  time  and  experience  during  my  BAA  involvement  and  have  watched  this  club  grow  and  change  as  well.

I  am  46  y/o,  married  for  almost  20  years  to  my  wife  Ginger  and  have  a  19  y/o  daughter,  Ashley  who  is  finishing  up  her  1st  year  of  college  at  Valdosta  State.    Man  how  time  flies!!!!    We  live  in  Cartersville,  GA  where  I  have  been  working  for  Muzzy  Products  since  1998  as  their  technical  support  specialist,  prostaff  director  and  bowfishing  promotions.    My  job  has  definitely  been  a  very  interesting  ride  and  has  exposed  me  to  many  unique  opportunities  and  the  ability  to  meet  a  lot  of  people  and  see  and  experience  many  different  places.    During  my  life  I  have  had  the  opportunity  to  hunt  or  fish  in  16  different  states  and  Canada  and  pursue  just  about  all  types  of  game  and  fish.    As  much  as  I

love  to  bowfish,  bowhunting  is  my  true  passion  and  since  1992  I  have  been  hunting  exclusively  with  a  recurve  bow.    Although  I  do  most  of  my  bowfishing  with  a  compound,  mostly  a  Oneida,  I  do  enjoy  shooting  fish  with  the  recurve  from  time  to  time  and  pursue  all  my  big  game  bowfishing  species  with  the  recurve,  like  alligator,  shark,  gator  gar,  etc.

I  spent  many  years  chasing  bowfishing  tournaments  all  across  the  country,  typically  shooting  at  least  12-‐14  major  shoots  during  the  year.    In  the  last  few  years  I  have  cut  back  on  my  tournament  shooting  and  started  to  specialize  more  in  the  promotional  side  and  do  more  TV  shows,  seminars,  special  events,  videos,  etc.,  to  promote  bowfishing  more  to  the  public.    I  really  enjoy  getting  out  and  sharing  my  love  of  bowfishing  and  educating  new  people  to  our  sport.    I  also  thoroughly  enjoy  the  opportunity  my  job  gives  me  to  meet  and  talk  with  so  many  people  across  the  country  and  share  experiences  and  advice  with  them.

I  am  always  available  and  willing  to  help  with  any  situations  that  might  arise  and  can  reached  just  about  any  time  here  at  Muzzy.    Thanks  for  reading  and  good  luck  to  all  this  season!

My Name is: Rick Russell screen name Carpshooter1 on BFC and Southernairboat.com.   I have been influenced by bowfishing for the last 23 years, in that time I have introduced many men, women and children to the sport of bowfishing.     Also I'm one of eight founding fathers and life time member of the BAM (Bowfishing association of Michigan) We believe that the sport should be supported and enhanced in the state of Michigan though club members and  sportsman as well as our DNR (department of natural resources ).   Some of our accomplishments are:   20 year continuous participant of the GLBC ( Great lakes bowfishing challenge) We have place many times in the top 20 places awarded as well as taking 1st

place in year 2009 and 2010   We have traveled to Mississippi for a BAA world tournament many years ago hosted by lance sullentrop  . We have traveled to the Jerald Ashmore memorial kids tournament in 2010 and plan on returning in the years to come.  As well as bring many teams with us. I'm a firm believer that if we don't involve the youth the sport of bowfishing will disappear in the near future. I'm sure with the support of the BAA we can make Michigan one of the most sought after bowfishing areas.   We are having our yearly club meeting on February 5th 2011 and would like to present information to other club members to become a BAA member and what the BAA has to offer. I maybe contacted anytime on BFC or by email ([email protected]). I look forward in hearing from you soon   Thank you Rick Russell

This year has brought many new and exciting changes to the BAA. The Board reconfiguration, the new E-Journal, new website, and new relationships with many dealers and manufacturers.........What? What do you mean relationships with manufacturers? I hear this statement from more and more bowfishermen and it still amazes me to think there are bowfishermen out there(some BAA members) that don’t realize that BAA Members receive discounts on bowfishing.......and hunting gear through various

dealers and manufacturers. In many cases bowfishermen could more than pay for their annual BAA Membership with just one or two purchases.

To answer a question commonly heard from many bowfishermen: “why should I join the BAA” “What’s in it for me”

Let me give you a quick answer to that question. As a BAA member you get to be a part of a group of bowfishermen dedicated to helping educate and preserve your rights to bowfish( yes it’s a right) and there is strength in numbers! You also receive Discounts from these fine Dealers and manufacturers ;-)

East Texas Archery: 10% discount of all Bowfishing and Bowhunting related gear(except bows)including there world famous Gardgod Stringshttp://www.easttexasarchery.comHawglite Products: 10% discount on al hawglite productshttp://www.hawglite.com/American Airboats: 10% discount on parts and accessories.http://www.americanairboats.com/Muzzy Products: 10% when ordering directly from Muzzy Productswww.muzzy.comAmerican Eagle bows: 5% discounthttp://www.oneidabows.net Gar Guys: 10% off all DVD’shttp://www.garguys.com/ And the list is constantly growing :-) I would to personally thank all the great sponsors for there generosity and support. You make this sport great!

The Future of the BAA E-Journal The Future of the BAA E-journal is up in the air folks. As you can see from the lack of content in this issue we are in desperate need of columnist, feature stories, destination articles, product reviews etc. There was a question posed lately on bowfishingCountry “why join the BAA” and the member made a comment that even the newsletter had been discontinued. Well the E-journal replaced the newsletter a few years back and was a huge success, but unfortunately it was shorted lived. Content and support writers were becoming increasingly hard to find. let’s face it life gets busy sometimes and some people don’t have the time to commit to 6 articles a year. But if other members don’t step up when others drop out the E-journal unfortunately will not survive. The BAA is currently the only national Bowfishing organization that I can think of that has stood the test of time. We see spin off’s pop up every so often but they usually fizzle out in a year or two. Why has the BAA survived when others have dropped by the way side? That’s easy, the members, the BAA has always been an organization driven by it’s members. Meaning the group grows or dies based on member involvement. The BAA has always had a strong core of members that handles the majority of the clubs work, but in the end this small core group of members can’t do it all as much as they try, and they shouldn’t have to. Take this E-journal for example....... most magazines of this size have a team of people that help produce them. The E-journal has only a few with only two people dedicated each issue. And as much as I love seeing the end result and the joy people get from the E-journal, trying to do all the graphic work, layout, hunt down photos and stories has become too much for two people. Am I ready to quit? No, but without other members help the E-journal may fall by the wayside to life and I would hate to see that happen as I think many of you would. So here is what I’m hoping for. I’m hoping some members will step up! We need columnist, content is up to you the member as this E-journal is for you the members, anything outdoor related is fine. We need product reviews, destination articles etc. I know many of you fish every weekend, sit down and write a few a paragraphs about your trip, snap some pics while your out and send them in. This goes for businesses as well, we would be more than willing to trade ad space for articles. Advertising doesn’t get any cheaper than that. This magazine can be as great or as boring as you the member make it, it’s all up to you the member. If interested in helping out with the e-journal you can email me at [email protected]

Mike McCombie

Special thanks to the BFC members for making this journal possible. I couldn’t do it without you all.

2011  was  a  rough  year!  Texas  was  in  the  grips  of  a  record  drought.  Wells  went  dry,  wild  fires  covered  the  state  and  water  bodies  began  to  disappear.  I  was  in  between  boats  at  the  time  so  me  and  a  buddy  spent  most  of  our  free  days  on  the  Navasota  River.    The  muddy  water  was  almost  at  a  standstill.  Several  ancient  cars  emerged  from  their  watery  grave  under  the  bridge.  Old  fishing  gear  and  discarded  junk  that  had  not  seen  the  light  of  day  in  years  was  now  on  dry  land.  Bow  fishing  was  almost  too  easy  at  this  point.  We  could  walk  for  hundreds  of  yards  without  ever  getting  in  water  over  our  knees.  I  lost  count  of  the  carp  and  buffalo  that  fell  to  our  bows.  The  fish  ranged  from  several  pounds  to  the  biggest  being  a  20  pound  common  carp.          One  day  we  ranged  a  little  further  down  river  than  usual.  A  massive  log  jam  formed  a  sand  bar  that  turned

the  river  into  a  small  trickle  of  water  passing  through  it.  On  the  other  side  the  river  was  still  holding  good  water.  It  was  wide  and  too  deep  to  wade  through.  The  steep  brush  choked  banks  would  not  allow  us  easy  travel  for  bank  shooting,  but  we  had  a  plan.  The  next  trip  Wyatt  and  I  paddled,  drug,  carried  and  hoisted  a  canoe  into  our  new  found  fishing  spot.  It  was  roughly  50  yards  wide  and  averaged  five  feet  deep.    That’s  a  lot  of  water  compared  to  what  the  rest  of  the  Navasot  looked  like.  It  was  pretty  much  the  same  for  a  quarter  of  a  mile  down  and  then  another  log  jam  ended  the  boat  ride.  The  steep  banks  and  deep  muddy  water  meant  there  would  be  no  carp  or  buffalo  taken  on  this  part  of  the  river.  However,  it  was  loaded  with  needle  nose  gar,  turtles  and  several  young  beavers.  We  spent  the  day  shooting  small  gar  and  learning  the  layout  of  our  new  spot.  As  the  sun  set  we  headed  back  up  river.    I  noticed  one  of  the  young  beavers  was  swimming  across  in  front  of  us.  Within  plane  sight  a

massive  alligator  gar  attacked  the  20  pound  beaver.  The  fight  only  lasted  a  few  seconds  and  all  that  was  left  was  muddy  swirling  water.          Time  for  a  new  plan!    On  the  next  outing  I  took  along  my  little  900  watt  generator  and  a  500  watt  halogen  work  light.  We  counted  as  least  3  different  large  gar  rolling.  Two  of  them  where  in  the  5  to  6  foot  range  and  one  was  a  monster.  Larger  than  Wyatt  or  myself,  and  we  are  6’  2”  and  200  plus  pounds.  Time  after  time,  and  trip  after  trip  the  gar  got  the  better  of  us.  We  could  never  be  in  the  right  place  at  the  right  time.  Two  big  guys  and  a  generator  in  a  canoe  made  it  more  of  a  circus  act  than  a  fishing  trip.  Although,  we  did  get  it  down  to  a  science.  With  good  communication  and  practice  we  took  turns  standing  to  shoot  while  the  other  controlled  the  boat.  Now  we  were  getting  somewhere.        On  a  hot  September  night  one  of  the  big  gar  finally  made  a  mistake.  A  huge  shadow  appeared  in  the  yellow  glow  of  the  halogen  light.  Luckily  my  arrow  connected  solid  in  the  lower  third  of  the  big  fish.  I  quickly  set  down  and  the  boat  ride  was  on!  We  streaked  down  river  as  I  tried  to  gain  line  in  my  retriever.  When  we  got  to  the  middle  of  the  fishing  hole  my  line  went  slack  and  my  stomach  sank.  I  kept  reeling  to  find  that  my  string  was  tangled  on  a  submerged  log.  After  10  minutes  of  bad  words  and  string  pulling  I  was  no  closer  to  being  untangled  then  when  we  had  started.  I  said  a  short  prayer  and  took  my  pocket  knife  out.  My  paddle  was  made  of  wood  and  I  carved  a  small  notch  in  the  end  of  it.  I  then  placed  the  string  in  the  notch.  This  went  well  as  I  could  push  on  the  string  under  water  and  eventually  worked  it  free  of  the  log.  After  more  reeling  I  could  feel  dead  weight  on  the  end  of  the  line.  No  pulling,  no  fight,  just  dead  weight.  We  made  it  to  the  sand  bar  and  pulled

the  big  fish  up  with  us.  It  was  dead.  I  can  only  guess  it  drowned  during  the  30  minutes  it  took  to  untangle  my  line  or  it  had  fought  itself  to  death.  I’m  not  sure  what  really  happened.        The  gar  was  5’9  ¾”  long  and  almost  as  wide  as  my  chest.  We  didn’t  have  access  to  scales  that  could  handle  such  a  load.  I  never  will  know  what  it  weighed  but  it  did  have  back  straps  that  where  4  feet  long  and  3  inches  round.  That  one  fish  supplied  meat  for  an  entire  family  fish  fry.        We  made  several  more  trips.  Each  time  we  saw  the  “big  one”

but  never  could  connect  on  it.  Big  fish  are  big  for  a  reason  and  sometimes  they  win.  White  tail  bow  season  came  and  with  it  came  cooler  weather.    Our  bow  fishing  time  had  ended.  Then  it  finally  rained  and  filled  the  rivers  again.  Somewhere  on  the  Navasot  is  a  wise  old  monster  waiting  for  another  round.    Derrick Williams

" Why do we bowfish? Many of you might ask yourself this when you are paying for something new for your rig. Personally I bowfish to relieve the stress of work, home, school, and anything else. It provides a crazy rush and it’s a time that I can hang out with my friends and loved ones.

This sport also is just a flat out addicting sport after that first fish or even seeing someone shoot a fish you are hooked and it’s all over from there. The type of excitement from shooting a fish is second to

none. This combined with the fact that I can hoop and hollar to my hearts content, because thats not going to scare any fish when the generator is going. The ability to make noise, and most of the time not freeze to death when you are out makes our sport more fun and tolerable to people over other types of hunting. During deer season you must be quiet and for any other type of hunting you must have access to some sort of property to hunt on. With bowfishing depending on your states laws you can just go to the nearest creek or lake and you are good to go as long as you have the equipment. Our sport is more easily accessible to the average Joe because the entry level equipment cost can be under $100

Peace of mind is something that people don’t get a lot of these days and when you are on the water most of the time you can get just that. It can be a relaxing time for you and your buddies or can be made into a bonding time for you and your family. You can use bowfishing to get your kids or kids you know into the outdoors so they can preserve hunting, fishing, and bowfishing for generations to come. You will also make memories that will last a lifetime for you and whoever you go bowfishing with. That is just some of the reasons I bowfish, why do you bowfish?

Gar fillets (obviously)Cooked & cold Mashed potato (coursely mashed, not too creamy, half the weight of fish to be used)Salt & PepperParsley (fresh if possible) 2 teaspoonsLime zest (grate the 'green' rind from the lime, stop when you get to the pith. Save the juice to garnish) 2 big limes or 3 smallFresh celantro (coriander) about 6 leavesFresh red chilli (to taste)Zatarains Fish Fry

Very quickly, flash-boil the fish (1 minute MAX) Leave the fish to cool.Once cool, flake it into a bowl & mix in the potato, celantro, parsley, chopped Chilli, S & P & lime zest.Mix it all together well & then scoop out portion sized lumps (a good dessert-spoon should be about right, per patty)Roll the mix in your hands & then flatten into a patty about ¾" thick.Coat with Zatarains & shallow fry until golden brown on either side.Serve hot, with a squeeze of lime juice.

I generally serve with either Fries or a nice, fresh, green salad. If you make them into thin sticks, rather than patties, they're PERFECT for fish tacos!

The Bowfishing tank has been one of the hottest things there over the years with multiple opportunites for us to be allowed to sell bowfishing supplies, although we have not. We have however led potential bowfishermen and women to places where they can order supplies or get it locally. It has turned out to be a great way to get the word out

about bowfishing, and again one of the more popular things at their event!

SeeLite LEDS...built by bowfisherman for bowfisherman

I would like to take this opportunity to explain a little about what we are about over here at SEELITE.

I started bowfishing a little over 8 years ago and this sport has been my passion ever since. I started out, as most did, in a canoe with a spotlight and a bow. We slowly progressed into a little 14ft jon boat, where we had two blazer lights hooked to a battery. They would last a couple hours at best, but at that time it was all we could afford. I could see the potential of the sport of bowfishing so me and a few buddies all chipped in and built a fan boat. This is when the passion developed for this great sport and have now been shooting tournaments for over 6 years. Throughout the years of fishing and many different boats, I have had the pleasure of fishing over every type of light on the market. Some were great, others were not so great. With every year that passed, newer and better lights hit the market. With all these lights, there was one thing tied to them....the big ole heavy, loud, and obnoxious generator. Didn't matter if you were trolling in silence, you had to have the key piece of equipment.

This, among a couple others, was a big driving force in the existence of SeeLite Bowfishing. It is our goal to develop as close to perfect of a bowfishing light as we can. Our experience, mixed with the experience of others, puts us a step ahead.

We are constantly pushing the bar when it comes to new and great ideas for bowfishing lights. As many of you have seen, our "true warm" fixture was one of the first on the market. We pushed our manufacturer to develop us an LED in the 3500kv color range for you guys who fish a little dingier water. They resemble a halogen in color and have the brightness of a 225w ultra or 300w bulb. We have also taken the fixture and made it 100% water proof. Every single connection is sealed with rubber gasket. We also offer a one year, no questions asked warranty. If anything happens to your light, send it back and we will mail you a new one. We offer them in 12vdc and 24vdc along with a 120vac option. The DC lights have a true 12-24vdc driver in them. Not the 120vac converted for 12vdc as some others are. They come in a black fixture, lifetime

warranty on glass, and come with a 12vdc plug. I think we are well on our way to getting you guys a good all around light that will fit your needs. We really do want your guys opinions and feedback on our lights. We strive to take your needs and opinions and make a reality of them. If there is anything you are wanting, feel free to call me and shoot me a pm and we will do our best to take care of it. We also carry a full line of other LEDs for off road and duck hunting needs.  HawgLite Marauder Lighting System

By Josh Watson

When I pulled the HawgLite from the box I wondered how such a little LED flashlight would perform in the heat of the moment? I was concerned that the 3 AAA batteries would need changing more often than a fat man's underwear!! However, contrary to my initial thoughts and concerns the HawgLite is a surprisingly handy little piece of bowfishing equipment! After rigging out my bow with the HawgLite, which was a breeze. I was anxious to try it out! I found right away, that when using a spotlight to fish by, the HawgLite was in its element. Often I found myself getting shots that I wouldn't have, had I not been equipped with the HawgLite! I also found it extremely handy when dealing with fish in the boat or changing out arrows. Now this doesn't mean I think it takes the place of a good ole Q-beam! But when used in conjunction with a spotlight, you could say the HawgLite

really shines! The quality seems to be excellent as it's been soaking wet and still performs flawlessly. My initial concern about the longevity of the battery life is a thing of the past considering I've yet to change them out!! Being located on the front of the bow, sticking out further than anything else, makes for an abusive life for the little light. Yet, the rigid aluminum housing takes a punch and keeps on truck'n! I did find that the tension screw to adjust the angle of the beam really had to be cranked down, because a decent bump could cause the light to point in the wrong direction. I first thought this was a disadvantage and a flaw with the product, but after falling with my bow in hand and seriously slapping the HawgLite against the

Page 45: Bowfishing Association of America

side of the boat. I realized that if the pivot/tension adjustment point had been rigidly fixed, I would have broken it!! I came to appreciate a little give where you need it and accepted that I should just check every so often and make sure my beam is pointing where I want it!I've used the HawgLite extensively for the past two months and when it's not on the water aiding me in sticking fish, it's on the bow in the truck, just in case I see a spot can't pass up! The HawgLite makes little quick trips to the creek, pond, lake or rivers edge extremely convenient. I find myself getting out and shooting more due to the ease of not having to pack a ton of stuff to go shoot a couple fish. With the HawgLite, I have everything I need conveniently right on my bow, and with the touch of a switch, I'm Hawg'n the shots!!HawgLite also makes an adapter bracket for you spinner guys! New to the product line is the Marauder F, with a 200 lumen output or if you already have the original Marauder lighting system and would like to upgrade to the brighter F series, a replacement light head is available!

Visit www.HawgLite.com to find out more and get your own HawgLite.
