Dear Friends and Parishioners of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish: MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Although it might look a bit different this year, we will still be celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day masses here at Our Lady of Mt. Car-mel. One of the biggest difference and something we have been implementing since our reopen in June is a Mass Registration system. We do this for a variety of rea-sons one of which being to maintain our limited capacity according to the Diocese in the Church. Christmas Masses tend to fill up quickly so we wanted to get this regis-tration out to you as soon as possible!! A reminder to all that the entire Diocese remains dispensed from the Sunday, Holy Day Mass, and Christmas Mass obligation until further notice. The Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass schedule is as follows:

Christmas Eve- Thursday, December 24th: 3:00pm (formerly the children's mass), 5:30pm, and 10pm

Christmas Day- Friday, December 25th: 8:15 am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm

To register for Mass please go to ourladyofmtcarmel.org and register for Mass.

We will need a lot of help at all of these masses so please consider helping us but volunteering at one or more of these masses! If you are volunteering, you are guar-anteed a seat in the mass you are working! Please contact Mary Prebys at mary.prebys@ourladyofmtcarmel.org if you are interested.

We will also need Eucharistic Minis-ters for this Mass. We will resume our RE sessions again next weekend, Decem-ber 12-15. Saturday and Sunday classes will also meet on De-cember 19-20.

Questions of the week: Question for Children: As we get closer to Christmas, name one thing you really want for your home or the world, such as peace, friendship, or food for the poor. Question for Youth: John tried to help people prepare their lives for the coming of the Messiah. What do you need to change about your life to be ready for Je-sus’ coming? Question for Adults: If you were to write three suggestions for those who follow Jesus, to keep them strong in their faith, what would you write?
