it's a wooden worldI am Nicola and I started It’s A Wooden World after having my 4 children and having bought them both wooden toys and plastic toys, I very quickly learnt that out of all the toys that my children had the wooden toys lasted and looked much nicer and the children enjoyed playing with them much more.

Anyone with children will know that children like climbing, jumping and bashing everything. Plastic toys easily break but wooden toys can withstand all the knocks and bangs that children can inflict on them and still be strong for little brothers or sisters or even they own children to pass down too.

Wood is also more environmentally friendlier then many man made

Burnley BHF sHops need your Help

Burnley British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop and Furniture & Electrical store are appealing to Burnley FC supporters to have a clear out and donate any unwanted household goods such as sofas, beds, TVs, clothes, handbags, CDs and DVDs. 100% of the profits raised from donations will go into the fight against heart disease and fund the BHF’s life-saving research.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the UK’s single biggest killer and around 152 people in Burnley die from CHD each year. To date, BHF has helped to fund four defibrillators and eight Heartstart schemes in the town. Donations, which are vital to the charity, are desperately needed so that BHF researchers can continue their relentless search for breakthroughs to beat heart disease.
