• Sign up on Moodle & permission slip turned in.

This signature indicates an acceptance of the school's rules, CEESA/SCIS guidelines and the athlete and family responsibilities.

• Athletes must complete and return to the school nurse a sports physical form every year. Details can be obtained from the school nurse or the Athletic Director.

• Attend all practices, games, and team functions. To support the aim and objective of commitment, students should only miss practice for legitimate injuries, family emergencies, or a major conflict/ concern with an academic subject.

Housing

• AISB 2013-2014: hosting SEVEN major activities and athletic events this year!

• 170 of our AISB families have one or more children participating in tournaments here and away.

• This means we need each of these families to host—even two or three times, depending on their children’s participation.

• Housing is a condition of participation.

• Date of events is listed on the sign-up sheet and on ‘Housing’

We need every family to fulfill its obligations to house our visitors in order to offer our high quality and choice of programs and experiences to our students—your children! Please contact [email protected] with any questions!

Boosters !

• What is the Blazer’s Booster Club?• The Blazer’s Booster Club is a parent run organization that supports our Middle

School and High School student by organizing a concession stand (Booster Booth) at home tournaments for athletes, event volunteers and spectators.

 • How do our student benefit? • Boosters provide food and drinks during home tournaments when the school

cafeteria is closed.• Booster Booth profits are used to purchase items - such as team warm ups, booster

banners, sports equipment, etc… that are outside the athletic department budget and to advance purchase Blazer spirit clothing articles for resale.

•  • How can you help? • By providing baked goods and/or fruit • By working at the Booster Booth or helping to organize.• Sign up to be a coordinator for one event.• Be an overall coordinator for the Blazer’s Booster Club. • How often does the Blazer Booster Club meet? • Meetings are only one time per sports season – just three meeting per year! The

meetings usually last around one hour.  • Become a Team Parent for your child’s team.• The objective of this program is to be a liaison between the coach and the players’

parents providing information about upcoming scrimmages, games against other AISB teams and various other communications to be sure that the parents are informed about their child’s sports team.

 • Can I help if my child is not participating in a tournament? • By all means! Baked goods are needed from AISB families throughout the year –

whether your child is participating in a tournament or not. Donating time at the Booster Booth also allows parents of athletes to watch their own students play.

 • Who do I contact to help out? • Athletic Director – Matt Fleming ([email protected]) or • Booster Club Coordinators - TBA
