OdorSENS ® can be installed close to the

plant: in this way the odor emission

monitoring is in real time at the source.

Sensor Data could be displayed remotely

in real time by web platform.

In this way it is possible to define the

rules for the sampling activation..

This activation can be automatic and/or of

independent control by pre-set thresholds

OdorSENS ® can be equipped with

specific detectors: for example H2S

sensor (ppb) for landfill, or PID for VOC

(ppb) + H2S (ppb) for Refinery sites

The EU 13725 Norm ….suggest a sampling technique called“LUNG – PRINCIPLE”

Geographical and Type distribution

• Oil refineries: Within the EU, North West Europe is Europe’s largest

refining centre with Germany leading the list with 15 companies, followed by

Italy (13), France (11), Spain (10), UK (9), Romania (9) and the Netherlands

(5).

• Chemical industries: Germany and France are the two largest chemical

producers in Europe, followed by Italy and The Netherlands. These four

countries accounted for almost the 60% of total sales in 2014 (€327,7

billion). Including UK, Spain and Belgium, this figure rises to an 80,2%.

• Animal holdings: The major areas of bovine production in EU28 are :

France (19%), Germany (15%), UK (12%), Italy (9,6%) and Spain (7,8%).

From these, pig production, one of the most odour producing, is leaded by

Germany (19%), Spain (17%), France (9%), Poland (7%) and Italy (6%).
