Billboards have been around since 1794.

The first one to be displayed was in 1889 in a Paris Exposition.

In 1971 cigarette ads were ban from being on TV and radio.

Now in 2007 cigarette ads can no long be on outside ads within the USA.

Billboards have a way of getting a message across, they wanting people to buy their product.

Your driving down the road, what do you see? Usually billboards showing anything from hotels to cars and restaurants to even medications and alcohol.

emotion within a person

they are more likely

to pay attention to what is being said.
