He is a taskmaster, strategist and someone who can make people laugh. His Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co- star Karan Patel has spoken about how he really wants Aly Goni to win the show. He told SpotboyE, "I think Aly needs to cut off all emo- tional and romantic angles and play like an individual because you decided to be part of a show to win it, not promote others to the title." He wants Aly Goni to win the title, and his second preference is Rakhi Sawant. He also spoke about Aly Goni's growing seriousness for his relationship with Jasmin Bhasin. He says he is okay with anyone as long as she keeps Aly happy. He told the portal, "I’m happy with whatever makes Aly happy, he is my baby broth- er and nothing means more to me than his happiness." On of the conversations that is happening is that Jasmin Bhasin's family might not agree to the alliance due to the cultural differences. Rahul Vaidya has said that he will convince Jasmin Bhasin's parents on Aly's behalf. Karan Patel says, "Aly is charming enough to get the job done by him- self."
