Department of Computer

Science & Engineering

The Department of Computer

Science and Engineering was

formed in the year 2010. The

department has started B.Tech

program with an initial intake of

60 in the year 2010 and 120 from

2012 onwards. The department

has also started M.Tech program

with an initial intake of 18 in the

year 2012.

The department is accredited

by NBA in the year 2018 for a

period of 3 years. The department

has 23 qualified teaching staff with

3 PhDs and 20 M.Techs. Our

faculty members aim at delivering

top class education blending their

rich research experience with class

room teaching. The entire faculty

is involved in research activities

and has published/presented 155

papers in national and

international journals and

conferences. The department has

KHIT ACM student chapter and

CSI student chapter. The

department offers various

certification training programs to

students like APSSDC Mobile App

Development Program, to make the

students well prepared to face the

industry. The department has also

established Research and

Development Lab.

1. The Department of CSE organized a Guest Lecture on SAP by Uma Maheswari. G, Pearl

Techno Soft, Guntur on 05-07-2018.

2. KHIT ACM Student Chapter organized an ACM Eminent Speaker Program, on “Usability

Evaluation of Mobile Applications” by Dr.Raghu Reddy, IIIT Hyderabad on 21-08-2018.

Participants: IV B.Tech CSE Students (21-08-2018)

3. The Department of CSE organized a Guest Lecture on “Corporate Training and Placement

Awareness”, by Amarnadh Kallam, Founder and Corporate Trainer VCINC Global Services,

London, UK on 25-08-2018.

Participants: III B.Tech CSE Students

4. The Department of CSE organized a Talk on “Current and further IT eco system in AP”, in

association with Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRT) by Sree Krishna

Seelam, Founder at Tax It here. Director-APNRT on 04-09-2018.

5. The Department of CSE organized a Guest Lecture on “Cloud Computing with AWS” on

04-09-2018.

6. The Department of CSE organized a Three Day National Level Workshop on” CYBER

SECURITY” in Association with APITA scheduled from 05-09-2018 to 07-09-2018.

8. The Department of CSE organized a One Week FDP in association with E&ICT Academy,

NIT Warangal on “DEEP LEARNING” from 12-11-2018 to 17-11-2018

1. Mr. N.MD. Jubair Basha , Associate Professor has completed NPTEL- AICTE Faculty

Development Program on “Software Engineering” July-October 2018.

2. Prof. B. Satyanarayana Reddy, Professor has completed NPTEL Online Certification course on

“Introduction to R Software” (Elite) July-October 2018.

3. Mr. B. Rama Krishna, Assistant Professor has completed NPTEL Online Certification course on

“Introduction to Internet of Things” (Elite) July-October 2018.

4. Mr. A. Sandeep Kumar registered for Ph.D in CSE at Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala

University, Rajasthan in the month of July-2018.

5. Prof. B. Satyanarayana Reddy, Professor has completed Pre-PhD examinations held in July-

2018 at KL University.

6. Mr. K. Kranthi Kumar registered for Ph.D in CSE at Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu in the

month of September -2018.

7. Mr. G. Lakshmi Narayana registered for Ph.D in CSE at Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu in

the month of November -2018.
