with a better understanding of your resources, time and money.Stage-Gate can easily be combined with PRINCE2 and AgilePM in the Principal Toolbox. You can bring together specific elements of each of these best practices into one project model.

Lean Six SigmaIf your projects focus on optimizing administrative processes, you can use the Principal Toolbox in combination with Lean (Six Sigma). The Principal Toolbox helps you to track the results of projects. In addition, risks are made visible and understandable using the log risk and the risk matrix. Important characteristics of Lean and Six Sigma, such as uniformity and standardization, can be realized quickly and easily with the project models in the Principal Toolbox.

Best Practices for Program Management

For managing programs, you can use recognized best practices such as Managing Successful Programs (MSP), or use your own best practices in this area. In the program model you can determine how many tranches there should be, which templates you want to use and which reports should be available. This enables you to increase the uniformity and consistency across all underlying projects. In addition, it will save you a lot of time when making documentation and reports. As the Principal Toolbox automatically aggregates all information from underlying projects to the program level, you have insights in the total costs and hours spent.

The Principal Toolbox supports portfolio management best practices such as P3O, Management of Portfolios (MoP) and Management of Value (MoV). You can determine how you would like to apply these best practices by configuring the Principal Toolbox exactly as your organization requires. The data from projects and programs is automatically made available on the portfolio level.
