BEE-LOCKP1isapasscodeenabledelectronicsmartlock.Itcanbeusedbothinstandalonemodeor

throughtheAppControltogetherwiththeBEE-HUB(purchasedseparately).WithBEE-LOCKP1,you

cancreateupto200usersandcanalwayscontrolwhocanaccessyourproperties.BEE-LOCKP1isa

DIY Lockwhich can be installed in approximately 5minuteswithout the need of external tools.

Fromnowon,saygoodbyetoyourkeysandhavecontrolofyourBeeLockP1bycheckingthelive

statusonyoursmartphoneatanytime,fromanywhere!

co-managethesmartlockfromBeeSecureApp.MasterusercannotbedeletedfromBEE-LOCK

2. Pulloutthesealingstrip.

3. Rotatethesealingstrip.

4. Unscrewthescrewthat’sclosertothelogotochangethebatteries(Donotunscrewthescrewtoadjustthelength).

5. Removethebatterycover.

6. InsertfourAAAbatteriesinthebatteryholder(payattentiontothepositiveandnegativeelectrodes)

Forofficesandhouses,youcanactivateOpenMode.Itallowscontinuousentryfor“non-restricted”

traffic.Itmeansyourguests/families/employeesdonotneedtoinputapasscodetoenter.Itisideal

forofficesduringregularopenhours.ByactivatingOpenmode,itcansavethebatteryusageofthe

lock.

BothMasteruserandsecondaryuserscanactivateopenmodefromtheBEE-LOCKP1.Toactivate

OpenMode,BEE-LOCKP1willaskyoutore-enteryourpasscodetoensurethatyouareawareof

youroperationandputextrasecuritytoverifyyourauthorization.

Before you start exploring all the features of BEE-LOCK P1 using the APP Control, you need to

downloadtheBeeSecureAppfromtheAppleStoreorGooglePlay.ScantheQRcodetodownload

theAPP.

1. Fillinyourfirstnameandlastname

2. Enteryouremailaddressandverificationcode.Averificationcodewillbesenttotheemailaddressyouenteredbefore.Read“TermsandConditions”beforeyouclickconfirm.

3.2 AddBEE-HUBtoWi-Fi

BeforesettingupanyBeeSecuredevices,youneedtoaddtheBEE-HUBtoaWI-FIfirst.Followthe

stepsbeloworthein-appinstructionstoaddthehub.

Pleasenote,thestepsarebasedonaniOSphone.TheUserInterfaceofAndroidPhoneisslightly

different.Followthein-appinstructions

1. Tap+attoprightcornerofAppHome

2. SelectBEE-HUBfromdevicelist

3. Plugthehubwithapowersupply.Youwillseethehubindicatorflashbluewhichmeansthe

hubisreadytobeaddedtoanetwork.

flashesinblue.

4. SelectWi-FiandinputthepasswordfortheWi-Fi.ClickNext.

3.3 PairBEE-LOCKP1withHub

PairBEE-LOCKP1withBEE-HUBtoestablishthecommunicationbetweenthehubandthesmartlock,

youcancontrolandviewyourlockfromtheAPP.

3. Followthein-appinstructionstopairBEE-LOCKP1withthehub.

Whensucceeded,youwillseeaprompttext“Devicehasbeenadded”.ReturntotheAppHome,theBEE-LOCKP1willappearonthedevicelist

3.4 AddUserfromApp

WiththeBeeSecureApp,youcanaddusersremotelywithmorecustomizedsettings.Forexample,

userwithtime-limitaccess,userwithagendaaccess.

WhilepairingtheBEE-LOCKP1andBEE-HUB,pleaseoperatewithin1-meterdistancebetween

thehubandlock.Afterpairing,youcaninstallthelockupto20metersfromthehubandsetit

upfromanywherefromyourmobile.

Onstep5,forthefirsttimeuse,iOSuserwillberequestedtoinputthepasswordtoconnectBEE-

HUB and Wi-Fi. The password is BEESECURE. After the first time, iOS will remember the

passwordandnolongerrequesttoinputitagain.

BEE-LOCKP1supportstwotypesoftemporaryusersformultipleentry,thesearetheTime-Limituser

andAgendaUser.TheyarebothsubtypesofRegularUser.ThedifferencebetweenTime-Limituser

andAgendaUseris:

• Time-LimitUser:YoucanassigntheStart/EndDateandTimeforTime-Limituser.Thisis

idealforAirbnbhost/houseownertohosttheirtemporaryguests.TheTime-LimitUsercan

havemulti-entriesinthepropertyduringthetimeperiodspecifiedinthesystem.

• AgendaUser:YoucanspecifyExactDatesandTimeonthecalendarforAgendauser.Thisis

idealforofficeownerstograntaccessfortheirtemporaryemployeeswhoneedstoaccess

yourpropertyon(ir/)regularbasis.

Secondaryuserusuallyservesasadministratorinthesystem;therefore,ithastobesomeone

withpermanentaccess.

AftertheexpirationofTime-Limit/Agendausers,theuserswillbehighlightedinredfromthe

UserManagementlist.Youcannotedittheaccessperiodfortheexpiredusersanymore.You

canonlydeletetheexpireduserfromthelist.However,youcanalwaysedit/changeuserinfo

andaccessperiodbeforethelastaccessdateandtimeyouhaveassignedisreached.

codewillnolongerbevalid.Youwillseeamessagefromthelockmessagepagewhenthecodehas

beenused.

Afterdeletingtheuser,allhis/herpasscodeswillbedeletedpermanently.FromtheApp,youcan

deletemultipleusersatatime.

3.6 DeactivateOpenMode

Asmentionedbefore,youcanonlyactivateOpenmodelocallyfromtheBEE-LOCKP1.However,you

canalwaysdeactivateopenmodefromtheBeeSecureApp.

On the device page, you can viewwhether theOpenmode isON/OFF.When openmode isactivated,youcantapOFFtodeactivateit.

3.7 AlarmOn/Off

When the Alarming isON, you will receive an instant push notification whenever the alarm is

triggered.Forexample,ifsomeoneinputsthemaximumattemptsofinvalidpasscode(6times),or

whenthebatteryislow.WhenthealarmingisOFF,youdisablethepushnotificationsbutyoucan

stillview/receivestatus/messagesofthelockintheapp.

Pleasenote,messagesarenotthesameasalarm.Messageiseverythingrelatedtothestatusofthe

device(e.g.whenanewuserisadded,whenthelockisopenetc).Thealarmhasahigherpriority

andrequiresattentionfromtheuser(e.g.batterylowortoomanyinvalidpasscodeattempts(6)

TogglebuttontoAlarmingOn,toallowpushnotificationstoyourmobile.

Thefollowingoperationwilltriggeralarmandsendpushnotificationstoyourmobile:

• BatteryisLow

• Toomanyinvalidpasscodeattempts（6times）

3.10 ViewMessage

From theBeeSecureApp, you canviewunlimitedhistorymessages regarding yourBEE-LOCKP1,

including,whoandatwhattimehasaccessedthelock,whichuserhasbeencreatedordeletedetc.

Therearetwowaysyoucanviewyourhistorymessage:

2. AtStatusRecordssectionyoucanviewthehistorymessageoftheselectedlock

FromMessagePage:

BEE-LOCKP1detectsthestrengthofthepasscode.Thepasscodehastobe6-10digitsinlength

andcannotbeinsimpleascending/descendingsequence,like12345678or87654321,or

repetitivewithotherexistingpasscodestoredinthelock.

Bydisconnectingthelockwiththecurrenthub,thehistorymessagesofthelockandtheprevious

nameofthelockwillberemoved,butalltheuserdataandprevioussettingswillremainintact.You

candisconnectthelockifyouwanttoconnectthelockwithanotherhub.

YoucanalsodisconnectthelockwiththehubfromtheBEE-LOCKP1locally.Theoperationis

thesameasPairBEE-LOCKP1withHub,butinsteadofselecting7,youneedtoselect8to

disconnect.

4. SecurityFeatures

4.1 Auto-lock

BEE-LOCKP1hasanauto-lockfunction.Afterinputtingavalidpasscode,youneedtorotate

theexternalknobinclockwisedirectionwithin6secondstounlock.After6seconds,thelock

willautomaticallyentersleepingmode,youwillhavetoenterthepasscodeagaintounlock.

4.2 Auto-Lockout

For security reasons, if awrongpasscode is entered6 consecutive times, the lockwill be

blockedfor3minutes.Atthesametime,youwillreceivepushnotificationstoyourmobile.

4.3 LowBatteryReminder

If youareusingBEE-LOCKP1 inAppControlMode, you can view the statusof the lock’s

battery.Wheneverthebatterylevelisbelow20%,youwillreceiveanalarmonyourmobile.

Replacethebatteryassoonaspossible.

4.4 EmergencyBatteryReplacement

IncaseyouareusingBEE-LOCKP1instandalonemode,andmisstheopportunitytoreplace

thebatteriesontime,don’tpanic!Youcaneasilyreplacethebatteriesfromtheexternalknob

followingthesameprocesswhenyouinstalledthebatteries

Afterreplacingthebatteries,alluserdataincludinghistorymessage,locksettingswillremain

unchanged.Youwillnotloseanydata.

5.1 Measurement

BEE-LOCKP1has4differentcylinderlengths,allwithextendablerangeontheinternaland

externalsides.

Inordertoknowhowtoadjustthecylinderlengthtofityourdoor,youneedtomeasurethe

thicknessofyourdoor.Belowistheguidanceonhowtodoit:

5.2 Installation

BEE-LOCKP1fitsalleuroprofileswithdoorthicknessbetween40to55mm.ToinstallBEE-

LOCKP1,allthetoolsneededareincludedinthepackage.Noneedofdrillsorwirestoinstall

it.

Thereare4stepstoinstalltheBEE-LOCKP1

You canadjust thepositionof the knob to adjust to yourdoor if necessary. Theexternal

cylindercanbeextendedby5mmpergaptoamaximumof15mm.Theinternalcylindercan

alsoextendto15mm.
