The Aerospace Division is a unit of parent company, IBT, Inc., a Lean Six Sigma distributor for major industrial bearings and power transmissions. IBT Aerospace operates under the Lean Six Sigma approach as well as a different Quality System geared to this high tech industry. This system has been developed to be compliant with the requirements of AS9120, as well as additional requirements of our customers and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) applicable

FLUID POWER HANDLING ACCESSORIESIBT Aerospace offers a wide range of components for aviation fluid power applications. These include hose fittings, pressure relief valves, quick disconnects, directional valves, and hoses in a variety of IDs and ratings. Products may be available in steel, stainless steel, brass, nickel plated metal and other materials. Best used for distribution and management of air and water in aircraft.

LUBRICANTS, ADHESIVES AND SEALANTSIBT Aerospace offers a range of adhesives and sealants for aircraft applications from names like Loctite and Dow Corning. These products conform to a range of Mil. Spec. numbers.

IBT Aerospace can provide a wide range of sub-assemblies and custom parts, including everything from close tolerance, high precision assemblies to standard tolerance assemblies, in quantities from one prototype to thousands of pieces. Finished sub-assemblies can be stocked at IBT Aerospace and shipped as needed, or they can be dispatched directly to your facility to fill your stock order. Higher level assemblies are built with precision components in a Class 100 assembly environment, and provide higher effective yields at a lower total cost. IBT can produce custom products machined from the highest quality materials to your exact specifications. We can also rework existing components as necessary to meet your needs.

SUB-ASSEMBLIES AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS

IBT Aerospace has a warehouse location in Tulsa, OK. Products are warehoused in a restricted access storage area, and are only handled by approved employees, who perform all inventory management and order processing functions. Our knowledgeable staff has over 90 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

IBT Aerospace has an engineering consulting group supporting product design and improvement. We work closely with bearing manufacturers to achieve innovative product designs for new applications and application improvements. Product design considerations include material selection retainer types, radial play and preload, seals and shields, lubrication types and amounts, special coatings and special heat treat, engineering services, testing and support. Torque testing equipment is available for inplant and assembly line testing.

ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES

Through our Integrated Services Group, we also offer complete supply chain management, from storeroom staffing to materials purchasing management. We streamline the total supply chain to reduce acquisition and transaction costs. Aircraft Electronics AssociationAs a member of the AEA, IBT works jointly with over 1300 aviation businesses, instruments facilities, manufacturers, major distributors, and educational institutions to provide effective leadership, communications, quality processes, and education within the industry.

Bearing Specialists AssociationIBT is one of 50 warranted distributors and 47 select manufacturers of bearings and related products which comprise the BSA. The BSA forum promotes networking and knowledge sharing and the sale of bearings through authorized distributors.
