Children will bring an apple, a star, a lion, a lily and a saw as symbols of the ancestry of Jesus.

The bread and wine are prepared on the altar

Pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father. May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy Church.

THE RITE OF COMMUNION

The priest invites all to say the Lord's Prayer.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
