A few reminders and tips …
• While BBVA Compass supports ticketed events from time to time, these are paid for directly by the bank – NOT the Foundation. Applications to the Foundation are for projects and programs that will generate direct social impact, NOT special events.
• The review process and final decision may take 90-120 days from the time you submit your application to the time you receive notification. We will correspond with you directly at the time a decision has been reached. Please log back in to the application portal and review the status of your proposal if you have questions.
• As a rule of thumb, we encourage you to ask for the financial support your organization needs and substantiate it in your application. However, on average, most grants (including first-year awards) – typically range from $2,500 to $10,000. Anticipate your needs for the full fiscal year and please only submit only one request per year.
