Components must function under heavy loads and survive severe weather conditions, including potentially damaging lightening strikes. Product Features ■ Special seals in housings offer increased protection from weather and contaminants ■ A patented lightning discharge path between the shaft and housing guards against electrostatic charges and lightning strikes ■ Short-circuit protected HTL line drivers with temperature monitoring of transistors ■ Special filter circuit for supply voltage ■ Spacious EMC proof reversible terminal box cover ■ EMC protected and shockproof mounted electronics ■ Sensing of incremental disk by opto-ASIC ■ Flexible stator coupling ■ Hybrid bearings (optional) are insulated from shaft currents and offer long life Benefits ■ Rugged construction with solid aluminum housing for high vibration and shock resistance in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. ■ High-threshold logic (HTL) signals with short-circuit proof output power transistors up to 300 mA or line driver IC or TTL signals meeting RS-422. ■ EMC-protected conforming to CE regulations.
