Clinical Study Results

Participants in the Clinical Study had acne conditions ranging from mild all the way to extreme. The study was divided into two periods in which results were tabulated after 4 weeks and then 8 weeks.

Supervising Doctor noted the following:

• Comedogenicity Test validated that the products are non-comedogenic meaning that no blackheads were created by the product.

• Hypoallergenic Test resulted in no allergy forming properties

• Irritation Patch Test was rated “mild” in normal use, which is the mildest rating for this test. None of the products induced delayed contact sensitization (allergic contact dermatitis).

• Inflammatory Acne improved significantly after 8 weeks of treatment

• Appearance of Pores improved significantly after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment

• Evenness of Skin Tone & Erythema improved after 8 weeks of treatment

Clinical Study Results

Participants’ Response:

The System

Chaé Organics chose natural salicylic acid derived from willow bark versus benzoyl peroxide or synthetically derived salicylic acid. This is one of the primary reasons the AcneTx System achieved such positive results in the Clinical Study. You will find this active ingredient contained in the AcneTx Cleanser and the Repair Lotion. It is a very gentle beta hydroxy acid that is ‘oil soluble’ (unlike benzoyl peroxide), so it can dissolve into the sebum and break apart groups of dead skin cells clogging pores, for easier removal. It helps to open the pores (unlike benzoyl peroxide) so that bacteria deep within the pores can be killed.

Our ‘secret weapon” is O2xy. This is a stabilized form of liquid oxygen. It is a scientific fact that bacteria cannot live in the presence of high concentrations of oxygen. In addition, the O2xy molecule is 200X smaller than benzoyl peroxide. Which do you think gets deeper into pores? This organic, kosher miracle of nature will become your best ally.

The Products

AcneTx Cleanser incorporates 2% Salicylic acid along with gentle, non-abrasive scrubbing beads to break down debris in the pores. And again, because the salicylic acid is oil soluble, it breaks down oil for thorough cleansing. This cleanser is so very effective, yet it does not over-dry the skin like other acne cleansers. There are wonderful ‘moisture magnets’ in this formula which bond water to the skin. This means you can wash your face ‘squeaky clean’ without leaving it dry and tight, because moisture is bonded to the skin even without the sebum. 4 oz.

O2xyTx Toner is a real workhorse. Because the Cleanser has helped remove debris and open the pores, and since the O2xy molecule is so small, it penetrats deep within the pores and kills bacteria. Because p. acne bacteria are anaerobic (do not like oxygen), bringing oxygen to the bottom of the pore further retards the growth of new bacteria. Unlike witch hazel (80% alcohol) type toners that are drying and tend to close the pores, our Toner will not dry and the pores remain open for the next step in the system. 4 oz.
