DryMist Disinfect & Cool is a surface & air disinfection machine that

treats areas without leaving moisture behind.

The DryMist unit delivers a dry mist that treats all surfaces without making those surfaces wet. Therefore no need to further wipe after use and no more down time. It is fitted with a patented diffusion nozzle that allows the disinfectant to be in contact, by displacement, with surfaces being treated, including those which appear inaccessible. How it works:Step 1: you calculate the volume of a room by multiplying length x width x height of the room (for instance 6 meter x 10 meter x 2,5 meter = 150M3)Step 2: press the proper room-volume button on the DryMist unit display (in this case 150)Step 3: make sure there are no people or animals in the room and close doors and windowsStep 4: press the start button, the unit will automatically start after 15 secondsStep 5: the unit will automatically choose the appropriate dosing program based on the room volume, it will run the disinfection DryMist process and stops automaticallyStep 6: follow the instructions of the disinfectant product used to determine after how much time the room can be entered againStep 7: enter the room, take the portable unit and you are done.

Choosing the right disinfectantThe DryMist unit works with all available disinfectants, fungicides and products like hydrogen peroxide (*). You can choose your own disinfection product with which you want to operate the disinfection process. Obviously you can also use 2 or 3 different products (different active substances) alternately, according to your disinfection procedures.

Another possibility is to use the 2 products chosen by ClearSafeProducts:1. Disinfection based on a combination of lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide. This ready to use

(premixed) disinfectant has an official registration in Germany, Belgium, France and The Netherlands.

2. Ready to use, multi-action fluid, based on nano-technology, that remains active for 10 days on surfaces. It is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria/pathogens, germs and viruses and tested in German laboratories.

DryMist CoolingWhen it is hot in summer, the DryMist unit can be used to cool air; ambient temperatures reduce in rooms and buildings. Just use water (no disinfectant) and the micro small droplets will create a cooling dry mist, cooling rooms but also the human body. People and animals can remain in the room. Frequently asked questionsThe DryMist units use only a little amount of disinfectant product compared to normal fogging units, how is that possible?

The patented nozzle and high output motor create micro droplets of only 4 to 5 micron (1 micron = 0,001mm), where normal fogging units use 50-100 micron droplets. Because of the extreme small droplet size from the DryMist unit the total outside surface of 1 liter diluted disinfectant is at least 10x higher then normal fogging units (see also document ‘using smaller droplets’).

Because droplets are spherical, not flat like a circle, the total droplet volume and surface increases significantly with each increase in micron size.  As the illustration shows, a 50 micron droplet is not just 5 times as big as a 10 micron droplet. The 50 micron droplet actually contains 125 times more liquid than a 10 micron droplet!

As a result of the DryMist micro droplets:• Less disinfectant is needed (at least 10x more surface action)• The surfaces in the room remain dry.

How far does the DryMist flow?

The DryMist leaves the unit with a speed of 80 meters per second. Because the droplets are very small this speed reduces quickly. Nevertheless the speed is enough to treat rooms up-to 1,000M3 (for example 25m x 10m x 4m)

Tests in rooms with sensors at the far end have been used to determine the required time to reach the required volume of disinfectant at the far end of the room. Based on this the timetable has been determined for different room sizes. It is recommended to use multiple units when rooms/spaces are larger then 1,000M3.

Is the DryMist unit supplied with disinfection products?

No, you can either choose your own disinfection product or use the ‘ready-to-use’ chosen products by ClearSafeProducts (see above). Note that the active substance used in the DryMist unit should not exceed 8% (after dilution).

How does the DryMist application work?Dangerous microbes such as viruses, fungi, and pathogenic bacteria that linger on the surface and in the air for a long period are the main cause of contact with diseases affecting animals and humans. Studies show the application of disinfectants and biocides via DryMist significantly reduces the number of viable infectious pathogens both in the air as well as on surfaces. DryMist produces super micro-droplets that float in the air for around 10 minutes after application. As a result reaching the most inaccessible parts where conventional cleaning or spraying can’t reach.

How portable is the DryMist unit?

With a weight of 5,5KG and a size of 43 x 28 x 34cm the DryMist unit can be used everywhere and is easy to move.

How to use the DryMist unit?

Place the device in an accessible and open area of the room, select the volume of the room, press Start and clear the room. The device starts after 15 seconds delay.
