Sub: Submission of Affidavits under the "UGC Regulations on Curbing theMenace of Ragging in Higher Education Institutions"

It is informed that UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OFRAGGI G I HIGHER EDUCATIO has come into force from 17.06.2009. Incompliance of above regulations all students and their parent/guardian are required tosubmit Affidavit (separately) on non judicial stamp paper of Rs. I 0/-.

In view of the above all students of the Institute are directed to get theAffidavits prepared and submit in the Academic Section by 12.10.2009 failing whicha fine of Rs.200/- will be imposed and they will not be allowed to sit in theexamination. Proforma of the Affidavit can be obtained from the Academic Sectionof the Institute or downloaded from the Institute website www.buit.ac.in.

All HODs are requested to bring the contents of this Notice to the knowledgeof the students of their departments for strict compliance.
