Barcode scanning has been in use for many years and is a cheap method of reducing sample numbering error with a familiar and simple-to-implement technology.

Westernex offers a number of different barcode scanners and bags at various price points, depending on sophistication, that coupled with our software makes for an easy-to-implement sample num-bering solution.

Ask your Westernex Sales Representative for more information on our package deals and additional services to make your sampling as efficient as possible.

» Barcoded bags can be bulk ordered from our factory, we will stock your bags to ensure that you have them for the duration of your drill program, just place your order.

» For the smaller jobs we offer in-house tickets or tags which are applied to your bags per individual order.

» Our software comes as fixed price, off the shelf and we can offer a customised version for your individual project needs.

» Westernex has a partnership with Existco for our software develpmentfor our software development.

» We will put you in touch with Existco who will then be able to deal direct with you on all your requirements.

» Our default software is the standard version off the shelf, we can also offer full customised versions for your individual project requirements.

» The output file formats are compatible with most third party systems, for example: LIMS, Log Chief, Acquire etc. while also still having the standard formats (e.g. CSV, XML, Excel). Please note that details will be required for Existco to make contact and ensure that their system will be able to link up with the software.
