MENSAHE
Ang amin pong Barangay ay nagsimula sa isang napakasimpleng
pinagmulan sa pamumuno ng yumaong Punong Barangay Jose Glory na kung saan
nagmula sa mga donasyon ang semento, bakal, yero at iba pa, mula po rito ito ay
ipinagpatuloy ng mga nakaraang Kapitana Marcelia V. Glory at Kapitan Eugenio M.
Marquez na aking hinalinhan kung kaya’t maayos na po ang aming barangay na
masasabi kong ako ay naging kabahagi sa dalawang termino ko bilang Kagawad
at Tserman sa Paggawain Pambarangay.
At sa aking termino makakaasa po ang aking kabarangay ng lalong higit na
kaunlaran, katahimikan, at kapayapaan. Patuloy na kaunlaran sa tulong at
suporta ng mga kabarangay, Pamahalaang Bayan sa pamumuno ng ating Punong
Bayan Atty. Jose F. Mendoza, Pamahalaang Provincial Gov. David “Jayjay” C.
Suarez at kinatawan ng Ika-apat na Distrito Congresswoman Dra. Helen Tan.
Kaya po natin ito ,sapagka’t ako ay naniniwala sa serbisyong totoo, tunay at
natural sapagka’t kapag tayo ay nagtutulungan panalo ang Barangay.

TANGGAPAN NG PUNUMBAYAN
MENSAHE
Mahalaga ang kamulatan ng mamamayan sa mga impormasyon ukol sa
bawat barangay ng Atimonan. Ang magbigay ng konkreto at angkop na mga
datos ang layunin ng Socio-Economic Profile ng mga Barangay. Ito rin ang
magsisilbing matibay na batayan upang mabalangkas ng Pamahalaang Bayan
ang mga programang pangkaunlaran na ang mamamayan ang higit na
makikinabang.
Ang ating mamamayan ang salamin ng kaunlaran ng bayan kaya ang
progreso ng apatnapu’t dalawang barangay ay pinapahalagahan ng Lokal na
Pamahalaan ng Atimonan. Ang Socio-economic Profile ang testimonya na patuloy
ang pag-unlad ng ating bayan.

VISION
Isang huwarang pamayanan, mga mamamayang nagkakaisa,
mapagkalinga sa kalikasan, may paninindigan, subok ang
katatagan at handa sa pagbabago tungo at gabay sa pagiging
sentro ng kalakalan sa tulong at gabay ng Poong maykapal.
MISSION
Determinadong makapagbigay ng makabuluhan, kaaya-aya,
tapat at mabilis na serbisyo upang maging kaagapay sa pag-
unlad ng pamayanan sa pamamagitan ng maigting at
puspusang pagpapatupad ng batas at alituntuning umiiral
tungo sa isang malusog, maunlad at kaaya-ayang sistema,
lideratong may malasakit, hayag at pantay-pantay.
1. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
KASAYSAYAN NG BARANGAY ZONE II-POBLACION
Ang barangay Zona II ay isang bahagi ng Poblacion dito sa bayan ng
Atimonan. Ito ay nasa tabi ng mga daang Rizal at Quezon na kung saan ay
nagdaraan ang mga sasakyan na patungong Maynila at Bicol. Dating kilala
nila bilang Zone II, ito ay tinaguriang Barangay Zone II Poblacion sa
pamamagitan ng “PRESIDENTIAL DECREE BLG. 557”. Ito ay may sukat na
28.9412 hectarya.
2. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Barangay Zone II – Poblacion is one of the inner barangays of Atimonan, located
within the poblacion. It is adjacent from the National Highway bounded on the north
by Brgy, Zone II & Zone IV – Poblacion, on the south by Brgy. Angeles, on the west by Brgy. Tagbakin, and on the east by Brgy. Zone I – Poblacion.
It has a total land area of 28.9412 hectares per record of Municipal Assessors Office composed of seven sitios or puroks – Purok Better Living/Villa Juana, Purok
Kabalikat, Purok Meliguas,Purok Kapitbahay, Purok Bougainvilla, Purok Palmera,
Purok Pagkakaisa. Topography of th barangay is mostly plain on the coastal side,
almost 64% of land is residential. Definitive data were specified below: 2.1 Location

3. SOCIO-ECONOMIC SECTOR
RHU Survey of 2014, showed that Brgy. Zone II had a population of 3,464 with
a computed population growth rate of 1.09%. There are more female than male with
distribution revealing 72.31% of the total population belong to ages 10 – 59 years
old; 14.23% under 1 year old to 9 year old and 13.45% belonging to 60 years old and
above. This shows that Brgy. Zone II Poblacion is almost equal in number in working
and dependent population.
School going population (pre-school, elementary, secondary and college) is
computed at 31% of the total population and the most common religion is Roman
