DIRECTOR Erica Lynford, CPRP
Director’s Note To say this is a year to remember would be an understatement. Oh, what a year you have been 2020! We had such plans, high hopes, and excitement as we entered this year, and as all of you know, in March that came to a screeching halt faster than slamming on your brakes on US 19! Like most historical events, this year of the Pandemic has taught as all something. For us here at CSA, we have learned new ways of doing things just as you have in your own lives. We worked remotely for many hours from March to May. We did some housekeeping projects here at The Centre to get it ready for the day we can finally open back up completely. We’re standing by for the go ahead from our leadership, and when we get that green light, we are ready with welcoming DISTANCED arms to have you back in our midst. We’ve worked tirelessly on sanitation of our facilities because your safety is our priority. We are pleased, happy and so very blessed that we kept over 2000 children and

staff safe this past summer at ALL our sites. We are confident we are ready to open The Centre to some programs. As the adage says, slow and steady wins the race. So, we here at CSA will start out with that same philosophy with programming for seniors. We value each visitor to our facilities so we want to be sure we can offer things that will not sacrifice health nor well being of those participants. We’ll be offering our ice cream social again - and make no mistake...we WILL BE SOCIALLY responsible and mask up when we’re in common areas, and distance when seated. We’ll bring back dinners with movies instead of dancing right now, and we look forward to the return of B-I-N-G-O with a tweak here and a tweak there. With everyone’s compliance and obedience to the CDC guidelines, we will continue to bring back the fun, if we can count on YOU to help us do it safely. Staff is looking forward to seeing you return to our FUN and hope you are too. Stay well, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy. God bless you all!
Erica
