CONTEMPORARY CRAFT FAIR13 and 14 October

For one weekend only we will dedicate our gallery space to local andregional crafts people. Come and look for gifts, or a treat for yourself –choose from a stunning range of crafts. Last year’s fair included jewellery,textiles, wooden homewares, ceramics, glass, fashion accessories,metalwork and sculpture. ANNE GRIFFITHS18 October – 25 November

Step into the world of Alice in Wonderland, told by textile artistAnne Griffiths, who has illustrated her favourite scenes using hand andmachine stitch onto gauzes and transpaent fabrics. Anne’s beautifultextiles conjure up stories from the book, using intricate sewingtechniques and details, in this highly imaginative exhibition.

WINTER WONDERLAND 29 November – 23 December

See the transformation of our gallery into a seasonal wonderland! A colonyof penguins, made by local schools, groups and visitors to Cornerstonesettle in the gallery for the festive season, joined by a sky filled with hand-drawn snowflakes and sound installations to create a truly magicalenvironment.

THE INVISIBLES28 August – 30 September

This reflective exhibition is the response from a group of mature artsstudents to the theme of loss and disappearance and its effect on thehuman condition. The artists work in a variety of mediums includingpastels, sculpture, print, illustration and multi media, creating a variedand interesting exhibition.
