Automation station ems2.CP04D

Being a controller which is extendable in many ways, the ems2.CP04D is used in complex building automa-tion networks as well as compact substation in smaller plants. Unlike the ems2.R4D1B, it is furnished with a display and touch rotary pulse generator to enable direct settings on the device.

BACnet - ems2 automation systems can be utilised as BACnet® Building Controllers (B-BC) according to the BACnet® Standardized Device Profile in conformity with Annex L of the ANSI ASHRAE standards 135-2001 and DIN EN 16484-5. The communication is performed via BACnet/IP or BACnet MS/TP.BACnet Protocol Revision: 1.12 (DIN EN ISO 16484-5)AMEV profile AS-B

Integration - being the core unit of the building automation network, ems2 integrates all devices of the technical building services. If ems4 integration modules are used for extension purposes, connections to KNX/EIB, Modbus, M-Bus, LON, OPC, Profibus, DALI, MP-Bus, SMI, EnOcean and manufacturer-specific systems like Grundfos, Wilo, Belimo and Schüco can be established.

Webserver - ems2 automation stations are furnis-hed with an embedded webserver for full remote con-trol and monitoring of automation functions. Additionally, a full-graphic visualisation of all relevant plant informati-on is supported.

… for use in buildings and rooms of any type and size DIGICONTROL ems2 is a network-based, freely-programmable and extendable automation system for universal tasks in all areas of building and room automation. Buildings which are equipped with DIGICONTROL ems2 automation systems meet the highest requirements of DIN EN 15232.

Automation station ems2.R4D1B

The ems2.R4D1B is utilised in building automation networks and complex room automation systems. Contrary to the ems2.CP04D and being specially designed for room automation purposes, the ems2.R4D1B is equip-ped with Triac outputs for direct control of actuators. Unlike the ems2.CP04D it does neither have a display nor a rotary pulse generator as they are not required due to decentralised operation (local override devices and displays).

Multifunctional hardware - ems2 is compact and simultaneously modular as the 14 inputs can be freely configured if required:• PT / NI1000, resolution 12-Bit• 0…10 V DC, resolution 12-Bit• Digital inputs 24 V DCAdvantage: Optimum use of hardware => additional modules can often be omitted.

Extendable overall concept - ems2 can be extended by means of DIGICONTROL ems4 modules, depending on the type and size of the building automation system. A variety of ems4 input and output modules for top hat rail, door, field and power distribution mounting are available. Some of the modules are equipped with a local override device.

Mounting - regardless of the location where ems2 automation systems are used, the housing according to DIN 43880 can be easily installed in control centres, control cabinet doors, on top hat rails, in electrical sub-distributions and suspended ceilings. We deliver the system completely pre-wired in the desired installation distributor.

Plug-in solutions - „Plug and Play“ means: extremely quick mounting, trouble-free commissioning and considerably low installation costs.

Standards and guidelines - ems2 automation systems meet the most stringent demands of DIN EN 15232 (Energy efficiency of buildings), DIN EN ISO 16484, VDI 3814 (Building automation) and VDI 3813 (Room automation).

webCADpro - the programming tool webCADpro enables free programming as well as pre-configured modules and macros for setting all plants of the techni-cal building services.
