The latest European Standard EN16005 & EN13849-1, PLc & PLdA new European Standard EN16005: 2012 was introduced in April 2013. This new regulation raised the safety,
reliability and durability requirement of power operated pedestrian door sets.
All the new installation in CEN members should comply with EN16005 & EN13849-1, PLc & PLd.
What does Grizzly offer?Grizzly improve the performance of automatic doors to meet the requirement of new European Standard, the
information can be found below;
• EN13849-1 Safety of Machinery, PLc - the protection of Fail-safe system access.
• EN13849-1 Safety of Machinery, PLd - the protection of Fail-safe system access. The system run an automati-cally detection at least once every 24h to avoid any abnormal operation of the doorset, resulting from any system electrical faults or insufficient stored electrical energy.
• EN16005 4.6.7 (Limitation of force impacts) - we have Safe-Glide TM Safety System. The impacting force is limited to security range to avoid any hazard resulted from impacting and to ensure the safety of pedestrian.

Safe-Glide™ technology is one of the main achievements of Grizzly’s design. It provides the safest door operating environment, providing pedestrians with the best accidental door closure prevention resolution.

closing gap of 1.5cm/leaf), and will re-close at the
speed of 12cm/sec/leaf after 20 seconds.

The doors will re-open when detecting low force catchments forcing the door to close
from 6 to 12kg at the closing speed of 12cm/sec. (measured by PUSH-PULL SCALE)
GRIZZLY ™ Permanent Magnet Brushless Motor The Grizzly Closed Loop Servo Control System is highly sensitive to any environment alternations and provides adequate feedback control. E.g. when there is a strong wind the air pressure can slow down the moving doors, in case of our doors the closed loop servo control system transmits a signal to increase the engine output power in order to maintain the previously set door speed. Repeated door operation could cause temperature rise and damper decrease in the engine, but the Closed Loop Servo Control System can monitor the operational parameters of the engine to ensure the stable door operation avoiding any
possible dysfunction or malfunction.
Our engine is a subject of many international patents. The durability of the Dynamic Driving Block exceeds one million cycles, as proved in tests.

Non-Mechanical Electronic Motor-Lock with Security Support SystemOptional Electronic Motor-Lock is directly driven by the
control panel to lock the door when desired. This locking
feature does not require installation parts to apply onto
the system because it is a build-in technology integrated into
our operators. Users can access the Electronic Motor-Lock
feature via our Terminal Units and Function Boxes.
Unlike the traditional mechanical locks, our locking system
can prevent noise when the door is locked as well as mechanical
abrasion caused by frequent operation and daily use, providing
a durable and reliable security system for your automatic doors.

nance service or control adjustments.
Adjustable Carriage Mechanism
The hanger block is designed in two parts that can be
flexibly raised between 0~10mm in order to adjust the
door height. By unscrewing the two screws of each
carriage, the door can be adjusted at a height in or-
der to fit the installation environment. In the bi-parting
door system; the mechanism can be adjusted at the
gaps between doors by simply aligning the carriage
ensuring perfect fitting of the two frames.

Automatic Balance Mechanism Our Seesaw Roller system can immediately self-adjust
to maintain balance during operation. This system
ensures that at least one of the wheels is always securely
rolling on the rail preventing derailing during operation.
Self-cleaning MechanismOur hanger blocks are equipped with plastic
brushes which cleans the rails during each opening
and closing cycle in order to keep the rail and
protecting the wheels free from dust. Consequently
our patented cleaning system prolongs the life of the
door even in the dustiest environments.
