Already as a young engineer Bob Hollis founder and CEO of American Underwater Products, put all his energy into his great passion – scuba diving. He founded OCEAniC in 1972 and we celebrate the 40th anniversary of that event this year. Bob realized quickly that the adventure of scuba diving was still at its very beginning.

Hollis began to bring light into the submarine world by designing and building underwater lights and strobes as well as camera housings. Very early he worked on the decompression theory and launched innovative diving computers. He designed for example the first air integrated dive computer and this year we will bring to market technical and recreational rebreathers.

Step by step Bob Hollis grew his company to AUP, American Underwater Products. Today AUP is one of the biggest manufacturers of diving equipment worldwide with its own facilities in most parts of the world.

AUP is engineering, designing and producing diving and watersports equipment for the AUP brands OCEAniC, HOLLiS, AERiS, LAVACORE and OCEAn PRO.

GT 3 and Alpha 9if you are looking for a reliable, straight forward regulator, which is supplying you unremarkable air then you made the right choice with the GT 3 or Alpha 9.

Just decide if you want to have an adjustable breathing effort (GT 3) or not (Alpha 9).

As first stages with the Alpha 9 you can choose between the SP5 un balanced piston, SP6 unbalanced piston but cold water approved or the CDX 5 balanced diaphragm cold water approved.

The GT 3 will be always delivered with the CDX 5 first stage.

The SP6 will arrive during 2012.

Alternate Air sourcesA very important part of divers equipment is without any doubt the alternate air source. Especially this part of your equipment should be simple and highly reliable.

We produce this suit with high end tri-laminate fabric, which is extremely robust and tough. The boots have special properties as well. With the intermediate synthetic sole, the shoe is perfectly protected against spiky obstacles, like rocks etc.

A lot of additional details differentiate the S-Tec from the common suits in the market and make this one the first choice for divers who put an accent on quality and researched detailed solutions.

UndersuitNaturally you can find an under suit in the OCEANIC Product line so you will always be prepared.

Here you have the choice between the UGGI suit, a tri-laminate overall with a fabric-density of 160 g/sqm, and our 2-piece-under-suit called COMBO 500. The fabric-density is 400g/sqm and you can wear the jacket and the pants separately.

The Vortex fins V 12 and V 16 are both built using Nature’s Wing® design. This patented construction is proven efficient increasing kicking power while reducing fatigue.

The V 12 is a full-rubber construction and is recommended especially when using a dry suit and for all divers who want to have the most comfortable fin.

HOLLIS regulators …… are warm and cold water rated high end regulators with a balanced pneumatic 2nd stage. On the 212 second stage breathing resistance can be regulated.

The DC1 first stage is equipped with a rotating turret, with 5 low pressure ports including one from the top of the first stage allowing all possible mounting configura-tions including dry suit, side mount, tech diving, and much more.

The first stage DC 4 is a balanced first stage with membrane control, this time with fixed low-pressure valves perfect for twin tanks or ideal for travel due to its light weight.

All HOLLiS regulators are available in single piece configuration to allow any and all possible solutions.

The Ultimate Set consists of the 212 DC1 and the 321 Octopus.

We also offer a “side mount regulator kit” including all your needs to dive two tanks while side mount diving.

BioDry FX 100Rough conditions, as currents, caves or wrecks are the playground for our BioDry FX 100 dry suit. It is made of flexible and durable Bioflex material, which allows wearing a dry suit tight to your body and feel comfortable too. This saves a lot of energy and power.

The AUG 200 undergarment is per-fect in combination with the Biodry, but as well with all other dry suits. its high quality assures a perfect isolation and an enjoyable climate while diving.

SD 7Technical semidry suit made of 7 mm Hyflex-Neoprene. The HOLLIS F 1 fin is a technical fin made for extreme uses. The one material construction is assur-ing a very high toughness.
