Welcome to a new school year at Home Away From Home Child Care Learning Center! We are so happy that you have chosen our school for your

child's early childhood education.

The month of August is here and we have a lot to look forward to.

Located in the front lobby is a Parent Board which is a quick reference to our Curriculum, Health Policy and upcoming events. HAFH offers parents a copy of the lunch menu weekly in the front lobby, as well as on the school

website.

Tips to help alleviate first day anxiety

Rather your family is new to the Pre-School environment or your child is transitioning to a new class room remember that a little anxiety is completely normal and part of the process. We’d like to offer you some tips for success!

Let your student know what to expect by talking with them before they start in their new school/classroom.

Schedule a time for the first few days to log in to our Watch Me Grow program to see that your little one is just fine.

Remember our staff is skilled in assisting you and your student resolve first day jitters.

Parent Reminders: Students must be checked

in/out at the front desk before you pick up/drop-off.

Sign your child in/out every day in the notebook located in the classroom.

Avoid backpacks and other bulky items for school. Students have a designated cubby where all items should fit each day.

Inform the front office immediately if your contact information changes.

Label all belongings with your students name including uniform polo.

That’s right! A week free of tuition when you refer-a-friend to any of our 5 locations. Just have your referral place your or your child’s name in the “How Did You Hear About Us” section of their enrollment form.
