In conclusion, I have covered a range of ages within my target audience. However, all of the people who I gave a questionnaire to were aged between 14-17 which means that my results are going to be biased in favour of the lower end of my target audience’s age range.

In conclusion, when handing out my questionnaire I made sure to give it to both genders. Furthermore, most of the people who I gave a questionnaire to were mostly girls which means that my results are going to be biased in favour of most of the people reading the music magazine will be girls.

To conclude, for this question on my questionnaire a vast majority of people mostly said that their favourite genre of music is indie rock. In addition to this, when creating my magazine I will be sticking to the indie rock genre.

In conclusion, there were lots of words that people came up with that others did not think of, so on this bar chart I have presented the words that came up more than once. The most popular word that came up on the questionnaire was ‘cool’. In addition, these words will help me in the development of my magazine when I try and make up the title of the magazine.

To conclude, I asked people on the questionnaire what their favourite colour is, and the results that I found have been shown in the pie chart displayed. In addition, the two most popular colours that people liked were light blue and dark purple. Therefore, I will keep in mind these colours when I come to think about colour schemes for my magazine.

I also asked the people filling out the questionnaire how often they buy magazines and the results are shown in the bar chart. Initially, the bar chart shows that most of the people who filled out the questionnaire do not read music magazines at all. In addition to this, because I am creating a music magazine I will take into account that monthly issues are more popular that weekly and may consider making my magazine a monthly issue.

These results reveal that the thing most people do not like about the music magazines that they read is when there is too much information. In addition to this, I will take into account that a vast majority of people to not go to these events and so I can maybe consider adding information about what is coming up so people are more aware and are able to go to these events.

For tis question I asked, on the front cover of magazines, do you like the artist/ band in the main image using direct address, and the results I would are shown in the bar chart. Interestingly, 100% of people said that they do like it when the artist/ band uses direct address o the front cover and most said, in the ‘why’ section that it is because it makes them feel connected. In addition to this, I will not make sure that the artist/ band that will be on the front cover of my music magazine will use direct address.

For this question I found out if on the contents pages of magazine, do people find it helpful if the page numbers are in order in which the results I found are shown in the bar chart. 100% of people said that they do prefer when the numbers are in order and most people in the ‘why’ section said that it was because it helps find what your looking for. In addition, when creating the contents page for my music magazine I will be sure to make sure all of the page numbers are in order.

For this final question I asked if the people liked drop down quotes that feature on the pages of double page spreads in which the results are revealed in the bar chart. Initially, I found that 100% of people who took part in the questionnaire said that they like the drop down quotes and a vast majority of people said that it makes it more interesting. In addition to this, when I create my own double page spread for my music magazine I will be sure to add drop down quotes.
