Applicable to all customers. HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <HEAP) CHARGE.

Applicable to all residential customers. Bills computed according to the rates set forth be1'cin shall be increased by a I-IBAP charge of 15¢ per meter per month and shall be shown on the residential custotners' ·bill as a separate line iten1. The I-Iome Energy Assistance Progrrun charge will be applied to all residential electric bills rendered during the billing cycles commencing July 2010 and continue until otherwise directed by the Public Service Commission.

DELAYED PAYMENT CHARGE.

Br11s under this tariff are due and payable withln fifteen (15) days of the n1ailing date. On all accounts not paid in full by the next billing date~ rui additional charge of5% of the unpaid portion will be 1nade.

SEPARATE METERING PROVISION.

Customers vvho use electric thermal storage: space heating and 'iVatcr heaters vvhich consun1e energy only dud11g off-peak hours specified by the Company~ or other automatically controlled Ioad 1nanagen1e11t devices such as space and/or water heating equip1nent that use energy only during off-peak hours specified by the Company, shall have the option of having these approved

SPECIAL TERMS ANO CONOITIONS.

This tariff is subject to the Company's Terms and Conditions of Service.

The Company reserves the right to inspect at all reasonable times the enel'gy storage and load inanagen1ent devices \Vhich qualify the residence for service and for conservation and load manage1nent credits under this tariff, and to ascertain by any reasonable means that the time-differentiated load characteristics of such devices meet the-Company's specifications. If the Cornpany findsi that in its sole judgment, the availability condillons of this tariff are being violated~ it n1ay discontinue billing the Customer under this tariff and commence billing under the appropriate Residential Service Tftt'iff.

This tariff is available for single~phase, residential service. VVhere the residential custotner requests three~phase service, this tariff will apply if the residential custo1ner pays to the Con1pany the difference bet\:vecn constructing single-phase service and thrcc-phase·servtce. Where n1otors or heating equipment are used for connnercial or industrial purposes, the applicable general service tariff,vill apply to such service.

Custon1ers "\Vith PURPA Section 210 qualifying cogeneration and/or smn.ll power production facilities shall take service under Tariff COGEN/SPP I or by special agreement with the Co1npany.

The rates set forth in this tariff arc based upon the delivery and 1neasuren1ent of energy at the same voltage, thus measurement '\Vill be n1ade at or con1pcnsated to the delivery voltage. At the sole discretion of the Company. such compensation 1nay be achieved througb. the use of Joss con1pensating equip111ent, the use of fonnulas to calculate losses or the application of n1ulttpliers to the n1etered quantities. In such cases, the n1etered l(Wl-1 and I{W values will be adjusted for billing purposes. If the Company elects to adjust KWH nnd ICW based on n1uitipliers, the adjustn1ent shall be in accordance with the follovving;

(1) Measurernents taken at the lo\v-side of a customer~o\Vned transfonner will be multiplied by i.O 1.

(2) Measurements taken at the high-side of a Co1npany-o'ivned transforn1er 'ivill be 111ult!pHed by 0.98.

MONTHLY BILLING DEMAND.

Billing de1nand in ICW shall be taken each month as the highest 15-minute integrated peak in kilo'i~1atts as registered during the tnonth by a 15-n1inutc integrating demand 111eter or indicator, or at the Company's option as the highest 1·egistration of a thermal type demand 1nctcr or indicator. The montl1ly billing demand so established shall in no event be less than 60% of the greater of (a) the custo1ner1s. contract capacity or (b) the custo1ner's highest previously eslabHshed monthly billing derr1and during the past 11 n1onths.

DETERMINATION OF EXCESS KILOVOLT-AMPERE IKVA) DEMAND.

The n1axin1un1 KVA dema11d shall bi;: determined by lhc use of a nmll!plier equal to the reciprocal of the ave1·age po•wer tilctor recorded during tho billing month, leading or lagging, applied to Lhe metered t1e1nand. The excess ICVA demand, if m1y, sirnll be the mnount by which the maxinttun KVA dc1nand established during the bining period exceeds 115% of the kilowatts of Juetcred demand.

TERM OF CONTRACI'.

Contracts under this tariff ·will be made for customers requiring a normal 1naxi1nu1n monthly de1nand belween 500 IZW and 1,000 K.W and be 1nade for an initial period of not less than l (one) year and shall re1nain in effect thereafter until either party shall give at least 6 tnonths written notice to the othet' of the intention to tenninatc tho contract. 111e Cotnpany reserves the right to require initial contracts or periods greater than 1 (one) year. For custo1ners 1vith demands less than 500 K\V, a contract 1nay, at the Co1npany's option, be required.

Where new Co1npany facilities are required, the Co1npany reserves the right to requil'e initial contracts for periods greater than one year for all customers served under this tarill'.

If no re-nomination is received at least 90 days prior to the contract anniversary date, the prior year's interruptible load shall apply for the forthcoming contract year.

Customer for interruptible service, the Con1pany \Viii provide the Custon1er with a \Vrilten offer containfng the rates and related tenns m1d condilions of service under which such service \Viii be provided by the Company. If tho parties reach an agreen1ent based upon the ollCr provided to the Custon1cr by the Con1pany, such \Vrilten contntct will be filed "'ith the Co1n1nission. The Custon1er shall provide reaso1iable evidence to the Con1pany that the Custo111er's electric service can be interrl1pted in accordance \Vilh !he proyisions of the \Vritten ngreen1cnt including, but not limited to, the specific steps to be taken and equip1nent to be curtailed upon rr request tbr interruption.

KENTUCKY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SURCHARGE.

Applicable to all customers. Bills co1nputed according to the rates set forth herein shall be increased by a I<EDS charge of $0.15 per month and slli'l11 be shown on the custo1ners' bills as a separate line itein. The KEDS charge will be applied to all custoo1er electric bills rendered during the billing cycles con1mcncing July 2015 and continue until otherwise directed by the Public Service Comn1ission.

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Except as otherwise provided in the written agreement, this Tariff is subject to the Company's Tenns and Conditions of Service.

A Customer's plaut is considered as one or more buildings~ which are served by a single electrical distdbution syste1n provided and operated by the Customer. When the size of the Custo1ner's load necessitates the delivery of energy to the Customer's plant over n1ore than one circuit, tile Company may elect to connect its circuits to different points on the Custon1er's system irrespective of conti;-ary provisions in Terms and Conditions of Service.

This tariff is ,also available to Custo1ners having other sources of energy supply, but who desire to purchase standby or back-up electric service frorn the Company. Where such conditions exist, the Customer shall contract for the n1axffi1tun an1ount of demand in l(W~ which the Co1npany might be required to il.!1nish, but not less than 1,000 IZW.

Custon1ers with PURPA Section 210 qualifying cogerieration and/or sn1a1l power production facilities shall take service under Tariff COGEN/SPP II or by special agreement vn"th the Company
