Compliance Dates

• Jan 22, 2012 – jurisdiction shall use an assessment or management method to maintain sign retroreflectivity

• Jan 22, 2015 – compliance with minimum retroreflectivity for regulatory, warning and ground mounted guide signs (except street name signs)

• Jan 22, 2018 – compliance with minimum retroreflectivity for overhead guide signs and street name signs

Plug the GPS unit into a USB port.1.

Run the GPS Info program2.

Determine the COM Port number3.

Select the “Scan Com Port” button and the software will identify the correct COM port for you. Record the COM

port which says “GPS Receiver” which in this example is COM 5. Click “OK” to exit.

Select the “GPSInfo” button to see sattelite status and GPS fix. After this, please exit the program.
