worked with numerous multinational brands including Smeg, BMW,

InterNations, LM Radio, Global Alliance, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Edrington

Group, MTN Bushfire, IMF and various embassies.

James Blonde has also had experience consulting with brands such as

Dior, Big Concerts, SA Fashion Week, Absolut Vodka, Marie Claire, MAC

Cosmetics, Peter Styvesant, Lucky Strike and many more.

WHY

There is a shortage of themed upmarket events tailored for the expat market, as well as mature, upwardly mobile and successful Mozambicans. Many promoted parties only theme in name and do not carry it all the way through the event.

WHO

Main targeted market is expats and Mozambicans LSM 7 – 8 within the 22 – 50 age segment. Invites to embassies, InterNations, Wine Club, Hash Harriers, corporates, various expat social network groups etc.

WHAT

A professional, yet fun event consisting of great venue, decor, music, entertainment, brand activations, prizes, ambience and most importantly, guests. What makes this Asia Orient Express party unique, is that it will combine the best of several Asian cultures and celebrate them through different elements of the party.

way to a large indoor space with large beautiful lotus chandeliers, Chinese

wooden half-moon booths with tabled seating. Stunning service areas and

magnificent views over the beach and Indian ocean. Plenty of space for

communal socialising.

4 potential bars including 2 large bars within the main space, a smaller

private bar for VIPs and potential for bar spaces for sponsors.

DÉCORJB Inc events are known for their attention to detail, especially when it comes to

dressing an event. The aim is always to transport guests into a fantasy world or

lifestyle. Decorations are being sourced in Europe, South Africa and made by our

team.

The main ambience we want to create is of Tokyo Soho minimalist chic.

The dance floor’s roof will be feature white, red and black suspended Chinese

lanterns.

Various feature areas will contain creative Asian settings including a photo booth, a

stunning feature DJ box, feature entrance, special decorated chill out and VIP areas,

and bars. The toilets will also receive special attention. Décor elements will include

Siamese Fighting fish centrepieces, dragons, Buddhas, Asian-inspired floral touches,

Chinese fans and Japanese origami. Discreet scents of incense will permeate the

venue.

Service staff will also be dressed in some form of attire relating to the theme including

the security, cleaning, bar and entrance staff.

Wherever possible, sponsors will be featured.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT Asian inspired music and places has for some time now been amongst the

trendsetters for a great time in dance music. 4 DJs will be spinning tunes ranging

from classic old school hits like One Night In Bangkok & Big in Japan, to current

commercial hits, then on to uplifting trance. The aim to is to make guests feel good

and happy, not to educate them on music. Its fun, festive music for the summer

season and we are going to make sure the dance floor is full and hands are in the

air! Think Thailand Full Moon parties on Koh Samui or India’s infamous Goa parties.

DJs include DJ Vino from the exclusive Polana Chill Out parties, DJ D’Vet from our

media partner LM Radio, as well as DJ Spartacus from Tekgloberz.

Our events are known for their performances, and this one will be no exception! We

are going to bring Asian to Maputo in an extravagantly choreographed musical

number.

GUEST INTERACTIONS & PROMOSGuests will be invited and drawn in to a number of interactions with the aim to make

this a full sensory experience that is unforgettable. These are also great opportunities

for brand interaction.

Prizes will be awarded for best-dressed male & female, best- dressed couple,

sexiest and most original, as well as best moves on the dance floor and best

selfie. Sponsors are welcome to sponsor prizes.

There will be a promotion every hour in which we give our sponsors a

chance to be profiled. These will be conceptualised together with the

relevant sponsors.

A treasure hunt will be conceptualised together with sponsors in which

guests will procure clues through social media and the event to

identify a hidden treasure within the event location. The treasure hunt

will be called The Orient Express and will feature elements of Asian lore.

Head and shoulder massages will be available for VIP guests in the

VIP Lounge

Hotel Gloria will also offer discounted buffet breakfasts for those guests

who wish to have a bite to eat after a long night of festivities as well as

special room rates.

Special software has been designed to project selfies taken at the party in real

time to the big screen. These can be taken in the photo booth which can also be

VIP LOUNGEJB Inc prides itself on delivering the best VIP experience in Mozambique. Attention is paid to detail and to ensure our valued premium guests feel like they are being spoilt and pampered. To achieve this the following will be featured:

A spacious separate lounge area , adjacent to the dancefloor, beautifully

decorated with adequate comfortable seating with access controlled by

security to ensure exclusivity.

VIP guests will receive a VIP gift bag containing a dinky

bottle of alcohol, condom, Chinese tiger balm, sparkler, glow stick,

sweets, and branded merchandise items. This is an superlative

opportunity for sponsors to reach premium guests.

The VIP Lounge will feature exclusive catering for guests consisting of

cocktail snacks including sushi and various Asian-inspired snacks by

JB Inc.

VIP guests will be able to exclusively enjoy a head massage for only

100mts per massage!

The VIP Lounge will be exclusively available for the title event sponsor to brand and will be named after the title sponsor. This is an unbeatable branding opportunity.

LOGISTICSEntrance – Guests will be given an orange tyvek wristband for regular

ticket price and VIPs will receive black wristbands. Wristbands can be

branded by the title sponsor. Each guest will receive a welcome cocktail, The

Orient Express, sponsored by our alcohol sponsor.

Security – 2 security personnel will be stationed at the entrance, with

another at the VIP entrance to control entry, and another at the DJ Box to

control access.

Bars – there will be three, possibly 4 bars. 2 large bars will be stationed in the

main dance area and a smaller private bar in the VIP Lounge for our VIP

guests. An outside bar with chill out area is bring considered pending on

weather and municipal restrictions. Sponsored cocktail bars will also be

considered.

Housekeeping – there will be cleaning staff to ensure toilets are

maintained and do general cleaning up of the venue throughout the party.

Sound and lighting – these will be set up to enhance the theme and ensure

a high standard of production is fulfilled. We are looking for a sponsor for

this portfolio.

MEDIA & PR CAMPAIGNThe campaign will focus on several communication platforms and will be activated primarily below and through-the-line. These include:

SOCIAL MEDIA: The main thrust of the campaign will take place via this platform.

An event page will be established on FaceBook, as well as a Twitter handle and

Instagram account. These will be profiled to large, comprehensive shared

databases. All accounts will be regularly updated with content including information

about the event, sponsor profiles incl product and services. Various pages and

groups on FB will be targeted, as well as content uploaded on YouTube. A teaser

campaign will introduce the event creating anticipation and excitement.

RADIO: The event will be marketed extensively on LM Radio, the preferred radio

station of expats in Mozambique and many successful Mozambicans. Other radio

stations will also be targeted.

STREET CAMPAIGN: Distribution of flyers in suitable spaces and venues. We are

exploring a guerrilla, flash mob-style campaign.

The event will be marketed directly to embassies, hotels, social influencers and at

organisations such as Internations, Hash Harriers, Wine Club and other suitable

clubs/organisations. It will also be marketed via email address lists and LinkedIn, as

SPONSOR PACKAGES & BRANDINGSponsors will be given multiple opportunities to interact with our guests on various levels and through effective

platforms. Many of these have been highlighted throughout this presentation. Due to the calibre of our guests

and scope of production, we would like to partner with brands that will enhance the experience for our valued

clients. We are willing to explore and brainstorm concepts to maximise your brand’s profile. The following

packages are available:

PLATINUM TITLE PARTNER

This is our premium sponsorship package and includes full inclusion in the PR and media campaign as

well as preferential allocation of branding space including the VIP Lounge, entrance, bars, dance floor,

communal socialising areas, big screen, flyers and entrance wristbands. The title sponsor will also have

maximum input into the design of the event flyer and receive a copy of our event database. All

sponsors required to contribute to the VIP gift bag. COST = 100 000MTS and product/services

GOLD PARTNERS

We value our gold partners’ contribution and offer select inclusion in the PR and media campaign as

well as branding space. We will ensure that your brand is profiled in the venue space that best profiles

its identity and lifestyle, as well as within the event flyers and select space on the big screen. All

sponsors are required to contribute to the VIP gift bag. COST = 40 000MTS and product/services
