1)After Crude Oil is first explored with seismic & drilling activities and then Offshore Platform is manufactured and assembled at site Methane(C1), Ethane (C2) till Pentadecane(C15) . 2)Next All the hydrocarbon produced from Offshore are separated into two phases i.e. Oil (Butane, Hexane etc) and Gases to produce all types of Hydrocarbons i.e. (i.e Methane, Ethane) . The separated oil and gas goes into onshore in the different pipeline for further separation into specific compound .

3) The Separated Oil Mixture is stored in the Onshore Storage tank Terminal while the Gases is transferred into Gas Gathering Station for the Compression, Metering and Transferred to the Owner or the Customer and it is sell as Natural Gas, CNG or LNG . 4)The Oil which is stored in Storage terminal is transferred to the Refineries for further Fractionation and Separation of the Hydrocarbons .

Engineering Procurement Commissioning

PROCESS PROFILE A proposal for processing used lube oil, mineral oils and industrial oils, using high vacuum molecular distillation technology is presented here.

The various steps involved in the projects are given below:

Step # 1: The used & mineral oils are pre-treated with two types of polymer, which will flocculate the carbon sludge substantially and separated by centrifuging/filtering Step#2: The used & mineral oil from the previous step is passed through phase separators, coalescer filters to remove free and emulsified water. Step# 3: These used and mineral oils are passed through a thin film evaporator, under medium vacuum and temperature, to remove, diesel, dissolved water if any and some lighter fractions Step# 4: The undistilled used and mineral oils are passed through a molecular distillation Plant, under higher vacuum and temperature, to distill off lighter oil (approximately equal to SAE 20 in viscosity). Step#5: The undistilled used and mineral oils subjected to high vacuum, high temperature in an induction heated molecular distillation plant. The distilled oil will have a viscosity of about SAE 40 at ambient. Step# 6: The final residue is semi solid at ambient and can be processed for manufacturing asphalt or briquettes, finished to make off-speck heavy fuel oil or to make greases for slow moving machineries.

PROCESS DISCRIPTIONS The following process stage has to be followed to obtain quality base oil as per ministry of petroleum and environments:

Pre-treatment: Stripping, Centrifuging Decantation & Dehydration Thin film molecular distillation using high vacuum Bleaching & Neutralization Filtration Blending Waste water treatment plant & Oxidizer to re-use waste & to become environment friendly.

1) Pre-treatment:

The used Lubricating oils usually contains aromatics,Carbons,heavy particals gets settle,steam stripped & the filtered & clarified using centrifuge.

2)Decantation & Dehydration:

The used Lubricating oils usually contains aromatics etc., and free water which can be separated by way of decantation and heating at high temperature to remove emulsified water and gas oil i.e., mixed lighter

fractionators fuel oils under vacuum heated by thermic fluid heater.

3)Thin film molecular distillation: After decantation and dehydration the used oil will be transferred for high vacuum distillation and taken the distillate out as a distilled oil. And residue will be separated - stored & supplied for further use.

4)Blending: The base oil has to be degraded for application of industrial lubricating oil after adding required additives.

the blended product is filtered through centrifugal filter which retains any particle of size above 2 micron. This may then be filled in packs varying from ½ lit to 210 lit.

Since the process involved is that of mixing hence losses are minimal, yields being about 99%.

Process and Designing Engineering :-

Arslan Enginery Pvt.Ltd is involved in complete process designing of petrochemical and chemical turnkey projects.

Intro - Once a clients are contemplating a new Project, pilot facility, new plant, or major process expansion, they typically have more and more questions than answers. Is it technically feasible? What is the best process configuration? Should it be batch or continuous? And yes a big question how much would it cost? Process is able to assist by providing experienced and knowledgeable chemical engineers that can identify, and systematically narrow down, and introduce to best and advance possible technical options for a given process goal. Once the viable technical options are identified, an economic evaluation is performed. Based on technical merits, system reliability, economics (capital and operating), and other factors, it usually becomes clear as to how the future process design should progress. At this point a conceptual design can be developed by process that includes preliminary process flow diagrams(PFDs), mass & energy balances, a list of major equipment, and a rough order of the magnitude cost estimate the process can also assist at this point in identifying potential risks associated with the design (weak areas in the design basis, insufficient lab data etc.) so that a plan can be developed to address these issues prior to or during the next phase of the project and start the basic engineering .

Identification Phase (Conceptual Process Design or Screening Study):- All the industrial project opportunities can target revenue growth for region and country; expense reductions; strategic growth; or improved reliability and/or efficiency. Clients typically identify opportunities by evaluating the value and identifying key risks and uncertainties. It is very important to evaluate opportunities on a consistent basis for comparison purposes. The basis for the first decision gate is a high level screening study and analysis or conceptual process design study. This level of work involves identifying promising chemical conversion pathways or major licensed technologies if available, narrowing the project down to one or more options, identifying major equipment, developing block flow diagrams, and generating an Order of Magnitude capital cost estimate range and proceed to quotation.

A)Appraisal (Alternatives Evaluation):- During the start of appraisal phase of the EPC turnkey project a series of process alternatives is developed and further assessment. of the process value, risk, and uncertainty is conducted. Some examples may include alternatives such as batch versus continuous processing depends on client, use of different types of separation techniques (extraction versus distillation, pressure filtration versus a centrifuge), The most promising development concepts progress forward to the Selection phase wise and further developments of the projects.

B)Selection (Preliminary Process Design):- The main and basic objective of the Selection phase of the project is to identify a single process concept for progression to the Detailed Process Design phase of the project. Preparation of work deliverables requires that a single process concept must be selected and further developed during this phase. Once a concept has been selected and approved, team will complete the level of detail necessary formalities to develop the cost estimate and preliminary project schedule with a typical accuracy of –30% to +50%. Deliverables at this stage often include the following stages below:
