AgFood Connect is an innovative pilot project that aims to create full-time jobs for individuals across a multitude of businesses in growth industries, making the employment process simple for jobseekers and employers. Being a part of AgFood Connect gives you access to case-managed employment, ongoing mentoring, and expert staff that are available to you seven days a week. Our staff aim to overcome any barriers that you face in the employment and recruitment sectors. Who are our focus industries? Food and agribusiness industries and supply chains. What are the eligibility requirements? • Be aged 17–24 years • Be in jobactive • Transition to Work • Disability Employment Services or NEST. • Be eligible for Youth Jobs PaTH Internship* *See PaTH Internship Guidelines for full details HOW IT WORKS? Register Face-to-face and/or via webinars, online registration process, and screening interview face-to-face, phone or Skype. Get the skills We provide a training & support plan, PaTH EST training including industry skills, Farm Ready card completion, white card, forklift and plant tickets, and accredited training opportunities. Get some work experience Our work experience sector offers PaTH internships, NWEP, and work trials, with weekly contact visits. Get an apprenticeship, traineeship or job This allows you to be hosted by two or more employers at the one time, or sequentially undertake a full-time traineeship, apprenticeship or job.
