Leasing: Quickly Perform Competitor Analysis

1) Perform a Lease Search for the previous 6-12 months

2) Use the histogram feature to Color Code by Grantee Alias

3) To the right of the map: a list of the top Grantees in the area and their associated colors and lease counts will appear

Leasing: Look for Open / Expiring Acreage

1) Search by Expiring Leases for the next six months

2) Using the histogram, color code by expiration date

3) If you want to take it a step further, you can zoom into a region and see if a producing well was drilled during the term of the lease

Mineral Appraisals: Only Available in Texas

Drillinginfo has integrated Royalty Ownership Information with our production data.

Users can determine the NRI of Wells, and Overriding Royalty Interests, as well as any Royalty Interests for Existing Production.

Users can also search for plugged wells that have produced within the past four to five years and obtain the Mineral Ownership data for those wells.

1) Do a production Search

2) Towards the middle of the Search Criteria Page you will see the input boxes

3) Users can search by Mineral Owner, Fractional Interest, or Interest Type (WI, ORRI, or RI)

From the DNA Homepage Select Create a DNA Project

AOI Functionality

1) You must enter a Project Name

2) You may choose to enter any descriptive information

3) Once the basic information has been entered you must then select the Save Project button

1) Find the newly created project from your list of projects

2) Hover over the menu icon.

3) Once the popup menu appears, select Area/Maps

4) You will then be taken to the mapping portion of DNA that will allow you to draw your prospect area on Drillinginfo’s mapping system

AOI Functionality

You can then draw your Area of Interest on the map using multiple options1) Select Section2) Metes & Bounds3) Quarter Calls4) Manually clicking the

exterior perimeter points

5) Once you are satisfied with the polygon, click the Saved Button

AOI Functionality

1) After drawing the prospect go back to the Project List.

2) From the Menu option Select Define AOI

3) Choose the Use Folder Area and click Next

4) You will then be able to name your AOI and select any items you wish to monitor

5) Once you’ve made your selections – click Finish

1) You will then be taken a list of related filings pertaining to your search area

2) You can access the different datasets by clicking on the Tabs located at the top of the page

3) To view the items on a map along with your prospect outline click the Check All button and then select Map

Saved Searches: A Simple Yet Powerful Tool

Once a user does a search they like or would like to share with someone else, they can save it by simply clicking on the blue Save Search link at the top of the page

Once the user has clicked the Save Search button, they will be asked to enter some basic descriptive information.

From this page you may also choose to share the search with other DI Users by entering their DI Username

All meta data is tied to the created polygon, giving the user the ability to create maps that show a variety of variables such as: Lessee, Lessor, Expiration, etc.

User also has the ability to refine the table search so only desired tracts are displayed in LandTrac Map view.
