A full scale DP System was successfully customized by DCNS/Sirehna for model testing in HSVA’s ice model basin
The DP System was tested for 2 vessel types, PRV and ADS, in le el ice and different managed ice conditionslevel ice and different managed ice conditions
System enables check of station keeping ability regarding All kind of ice scenarios All kind of ice scenarios Operation strategies Vessel design Hull lines Hull lines Propulsion system
Further work should focus on DP strategy
