Duties and Responsibilities:The successful Apprentice will be working alongside our experienced securityengineers. Duties will include:
• Access control installations, support and maintenance• Software installation and support relating to access control• Mechanical and electrical lock installations• UPVC mechanism repairs• Locksmithing work e.g. lock opening, key cutting, cylinder suiting and lock repairs• Retail work: shop sales, internet sales, telephone enquiries, processing sales• Intergrating intercoms and locksets to existing or new networks
The retail base of the company is in Widnes but some travelling will be required incompany vehicles to customer sites throughout the North West
Skills and Personal Qualities:
Desired Skills• The successful candidate will be adaptable, have good practical skills and a strongunderstanding of ITPersonal Qualities• The successful candidate will be hardworking and presentable and have goodcommunication skillsQualifications Required• GCSEs grade A*-C in English, Maths and IT or equivalent are desirable• Functional Skills are offered as part of the Apprenticeship Framework
