GENERAL INFORMATIONThe cubicles of "UNIFLUORC"series are modular, metal-enclosedpanels equipped with air-insulatedbus-bars and cable compartmentsas well as with SF6 gas insulatedswitch disconnectors and earth swit-ches.The system complies with the cur-rent standards: its overall dimen-sions are reduced to a minimumwithout affecting personnel safety.The “UNIFLUORC” outstanding fea-ture is the reduction of space andinstallation and maintenance times.

SF6 GASSF6 gas (sulphure hexafluoride) gashas been successfully used over theyears as an insulation medium forelectrical switching and protectionapparatus. Being an inert, electrone-gative and uninflammable gas, SF6has been utilized for more than thirtyyears in MV and HV circuit breakersand, in the last ten years, also in theapparatus housing MV switchdisconnectors. SF6 is more suitablethan other dielectric media giventhat.

METHODS OF USEThe cubicles can be interconnectedto realize switchboard line-ups incompliance with the customersrequirements.Thanks to their reduced dimensions,they can be installed in prefabricatedcompact, mobile or undergroundsubstations.A modular design makes“UNIFLUORC” the ideal solution incase of modification or extension ofexisting substations.

Heä thoáng tuaân theo caùc chuaån hieän haønh : kích thöôùc ñöôïc thieát keá goïn ñaûm baûo an toaøn cho ngöôøi vaän haønh. Heä thoáng "UNIFLUORC" coù nhöõng öu ñieåm noåi baät tieát kieäm khoâng gian laép ñaët vaø thôøi gian baûo trì.

KHÍ SF6Khí SF6 (sunphua hexaflorit) ñöôïcsöû duïng thaønh coâng trong nhieàu naêmlaøm chaát caùch ñieän ñoái vôùi thieát bò baûo veä vaø ñoùng caét maïch ñieän . Laø loaïi khí trô, tích ñieän aâm vaø loaïi khí khoâng chaùy, khí SF6 ñöôïc söû duïng vôùi maùy caét trung vaø cao theá trong hôn 30 naêm, trong 10 naêm gaàn ñaây SF6 ñöôïc söû duïng trong caùc caàu dao phuï taûi trung theá.SF6 cuõng thích hôïp laøm chaát caùch ñieän trong caùc thieát bò ñieän khaùc.

PHÖÔNG PHAÙP SÖÛ DUÏNGCaùc tuû UNIFLUORC naøy coù theå lieân keát vôùi nhau taïo thaønh daõy tuû theo yeâu caàu khaùch haøng.

Do kích thöôùc ñaõ ñöôïc thu nhoû, chuùng coù theå ñöôïc gaén keát vôùi caùc keát caáuñuùc saün, di ñoäng hay nhöõng traïm ñaët döôùi maët ñaát. Thieát keá coù daïng modun cuûa UNIFLUORC laø giaûi phaùp lyù töôûng cho nhu caàu hieäu chænh hay môû roäng cuûa heä thoáng hieän taïi.

TEST REPORTSThe cubicles of "UNIFLUORC"series have successfully passed allthe type tests requested by the inter-national and national Standards (IEC,VDE, CEI, Chinese Standard GB3804-90) in officially acknowledgedtesting laboratories.

QUALITY SYSTEMThe Quality Assurance System gua-rantees that the whole manufactu-ring process conforms to the proce-dures explained within the qualitymanual. Before being delivered,each switchboard or cubicle is sub-mitted to type acceptance tests,which are in compliance with the IEC60598 and the customer’s require-ments. These tests assure the cor-rect mechanical and electrical func-tionality as well as the maintaining ahigh level of quality.

CAÀU DAO PHUÏ TAÛIVAØ DAO TIEÁP ÑAÁT

Boä ngaét maïch caùch ñieän baèng khí SF6 bao goàm caàu dao phuï taûi LBS vaø dao tieáp ñaát ES ñöôïc trang cô caáu truyeàn ñoäng coù khoùa lieân ñoäng rieâng bieät. Khi caàu dao phuï taûi môû vaø tieáp ñaát ñoùng laïi, chæ coù theå môû dao tieáp ñaát baèng truyeàn ñoäng cô khí (7). Khoùa lieân ñoäng dao tieáptöï ñoäng môû vaø cho pheùp caàu dao phuï taûi ñoùng laïi. Baèng boä truyeàn ñoäng (6) coù theå ñoùng caàu dao phuï taûi vaø töø vò trí naøy coù theå môû laïi caàu caàu dao phuï taûi trôû laïi.

MAIN FEATURES

Easy installationThe reduced dimensions and weightof the cubicles facilitates the user intheir handling and installation. Thework to be carried out, when assem-bling more cubicles, is made easierby the possibility of removing thepanel of the bus-bar compartmentcover located over the door, thusleaving the whole front accessible tothe technician. For the internal arcstrength solution, the buffer sheets,supplied for the composition of thegas outlet shaft allows for the easilypositioning on the posterior side,therefore, ensuring an outlet shaft ofapprox. 130 mm.

Easy operating conditionsEvery cubicle is equipped with amimic layout reproducing its singleli-ne diagram and variable mimic indi-cators which show the position ofthe apparatus inside the cubicle.A plate on the operating mechani-sms shows the rotation at directionof the handle for the devices properuse, to carry out the operation.Moreover, an additional plate on thedoor provides a step-by-step de-scription of the sequences to followfor an easy and safe operation.

EarthingAll the cubicles are equipped with amain earthing bus-bar which is easilyconnected to the adjacent cubicle.The switch-disconnector and ear-thing switch, as well as all other ele-ments, are connected to the earthingbus-bar. The hinged parts are ear-thed by means of copper braids orflexible cords. All other componentsof the metal structure are made ofgalvanized sheet iron (senzimir); theyare railed/riveted together and gua-rantee the earth continuity acrosseach component.

Visual inspection of contactsOn the switch-disconnector there isan inspection window suitably sizedto permit the visual inspection ofmain contact isolation and of ear-thing contacts position. The cubicledoor is provided with a windowwhich allows inspection of the fuses,status and the cable terminal condi-tions.

Segregation of the cubicle unit

The SF6 insulated switch-discon-nector type “FLUORC” consists of astainless steel structure and of sixisolators for the support of the fixedand moving contacts. It is positionedso as to form two completely segre-gated compartments: the upper one,the busbar compartment, and thelower one, the cable compartment.In addition to the interruption andisolation function, its sealed metalenclosure also segregates the cubi-cle compartments.This peculiar contruction guaranteessafe maintenance and replacementoperations also in presence of livebusbars.

Caàu dao phuï taûi caùch ñieän khí SF6 kieåu FLUORC ñöôïc chöùa trong voû boïc theùp khoâng gæ vaø saùu boä söù caùch ñieän ñeå coá ñònh caùc tieáp ñieåm coá ñònh vaø di ñoäng. CONSTRUCTIONALFEATURESMetal cubicleThe cubicle is made of a 15/10 mmgalvanized steel sheet pressbent so asto obtain a light metal structure. Thequadruple bending of the uprights gua-rantees their excellent strength andindeformability. The components are allfixed together with rivets or bolts.Therear closing flaps are built-in on thecubicle upper-side and riveted on itsbottom to ensure the immediate ope-ning of the exhaust relieves in case ofinternal arc and to convey the gases tothe roof. The roof plate is fixed with M6type bolts, which can be removed fromthe outside to ease the busbars con-nection.The cable compartment doorhas been built so as to with stand thepressure ensuing from a possible inter-nal fault and is provided with a specialclosing system, without handles,through hooks which can be releasedthus lifting the door and allowing it tobe rotated anticlockwise. Located overthe door, the auxiliary compartmentcan be supplied in the standard versionsuitable for housing terminal boardsand small instruments, or in the highversion, suitable for protection relaysor instruments theker than 40 mm.

Power circuitThe main power circuit is made of bareelectrolytic flat copper with roundedoff edges, and with a cross-sectionwhich varies with regards to rated cur-rents and short circuit. To assure thedielectric strength of 24kV switchbo-ards sheathed bus-bars are utilized.The bus-bars’ maximum rated currentis 800 A, with a rated short circuit with-stand current up to 20kA.

Material treatmentThe door and the LV case undergo thefollowing treatment: degreasing andhot phosphating followed by powdercoating (minimum thickness: 40 micr-on). The supports of apparatus such asCT-VT and capacitive insulators arezinc-passivated; all other componentsof the cubicle are made of zinc sheet(270 gr/mq).

FUNCTIONAL FEATURES

The automatic interlocks providedbetween the switch-disconnectorand the earthing switch are of thehindrance type with automatic selec-tion of the following functions; the in-terlock between the earthing switchand the door of the cable compart-ment is of the forcing type on thedoor handle and of the hindrancetype with regards to the isolator ope-rating mechanism. The automaticselection of interlocks imposes thecorrect operation sequence: closingof the door, opening of the earthingswitch, closing of the switch-discon-nector. The separate operating seatsof the line and earthing operatingmechanisms prevent the personnelfrom performing two operations inquick and unintentional sequence.

Galvanic separation between phasesThe particular constructional characteri-stics of the switch-disconnector hou-sing, (stainless steel sheet and standinginsulators of the phase contacts), pre-vents, in whichever service condition,that any surface current can flow throughthe insulators (short circuit phase) orjoins between the incoming and out-going of the same phase. This conditionis very dangerous for the personnel incharge of the maintenance of substa-tions with live bus-bars (e.g. replacementof one or more fuses). Thus, the solutionrepresented by the switch-disconnectortype LARC, with its metal structure, iscertainly superior in terms of personnelsafety with respect to other solutionswith an epoxy resin housing.

Switch-disconnector housingThe housing is manufactured using stain-less steel AISI 304 obtained throughcross bending. This system of produc-tion ensures the maintenance of a highquality standard of components. Thewelding method (TIG) used to join thetwo parts without material deposit, gua-rantees a junction without blowholes anda high level of resistance. The safetyvalve positioned on the rear of the swit-ch-disconnector, ensures that the gasescaused by internal arc are releasedwithout causing breakage in the frontpart, where a member of personnel maybe carrying out electrical operations. Thefilling and control valve is sealed to avoidaccidental tampering and is fitted on asupport located on the front of the swit-ch disconnector housing

VACUUM CIRCUT BREAKERThe FLUVAC circuit breaker is madewith the use of a vacuum bottle andoffers all the characteristics (highnumber of operations long electricallife — completely reliable — requiresno inspection or maintenance) typi-cal of vacuum circuit breakers.

DISCONNECTORThe SF6 disconnector and enclosurecompletely SF6 insulated at a lowpressure level (0,3 relative bar) andwith an extremely reduced gas con-tent (less than 200 gr.) which rendersit acceptable also in countries (a fewin fact) where the use of apparatusinsulated in SF6 is not accepted.

CONSTRUCTIVE FEATU-RESThe FLUVAC apparatus series areindoor medium voltage circuitbreakers, combined with an insula-tion device, suitable for rated volta-ges up 24 kV. The features whichdistinguish them from the traditionaldisconnection and breaking sys-tems, lie in the possibility to create ina single stainless steel insulated withSF6 gas enclosure: the short circuitbreaking function with vacuum inter-ruptor, the isolation function and theearthing function.The sectioning operation determinesthe simultaneous predisposition forthe earthing of the apparatus. All theopening, closing and earthing opera-tions occur via the use of the circuitbreaker, which guarantees maximumefficiency and safety.Suitable simple and safe conceptinterlocks, permit operating withmaximum safety and protection ofpersonnel appointed to the manage-ment of the installations and equip-ment. Furthermore thanks to theirextremely compact structure, theyare suitable for application in modu-lar cubicles with a minimum width of375 mm.

Operating mechanismThe operating mechanism is madeusing two distinct parts, mechanical-ly interlocked, for the following func-tions:- Closing/opening of the main con-tacts placed in the vacuum bottle.- Closing/opening - earthing of theSF6 disconnector.The breaking function allows for theO - C - O cycle to be carried outwithout the need to restore the clo-sing spring’s load.The remote opening and closingoperating mechanism, with storedenergy is equipped with spring char-ging geared motor, opening and clo-sing coil with supply optionsof24Vcc up to 220V 50Hz and inter-lock with the purpose of preventingincorrect operations.– operation sequence starting from

closed circuit breaker– opening of the circuit breaker, swit-

ching of the disconnector from line position to earth position.Closing of the circuit breaker.Closing of auxiliary earthing switch (*).Door opening.

– Interlock that prevents circuit brea-ker and disconnector operation.

ÑAËC ÑIEÅM CAÁU TAÏO

Thieát bò FLUVAC laø loaïi maùy caét trung aùp söû duïng trong nhaø keát hôïp vôùi caùc caùch ñieän phuø hôïp vôùi caáp ñieän aùp leân ñeán 24kV. Ñaëc ñieàm khaùc bieät vôùi heä thoáng ngaét maïch vaø caùch ly truyeàn thoáng laø khaû naêng taïo ra voû boïc caùch ñieän theùp khoâng gæ vôùi khí SF6: Khaû naêng caét maïch vôùi buoàng caét chaân khoâng,chöùc naêng caùch ly vaø tieáp ñaát .

Hoaït ñoäng cuûa caùc boä phaän lieân ñoäng coù tính ñoàng thôøi vôùi vieäc tieáp ñaát thieát bò. Taát caû caùc thao taùc ñoùng, môû, tieáp ñaát ñeàu thoâng qua maùy caét ñaûm baûo an toaøn vaø ñaït hieäu quaû cao.

Cô caáu khoùa lieân ñoäng an toaøn vaø ñôn giaûn cho pheùp hoaït ñoäng vôùi ñoä an toaøn cao vaø baûo veä ngöôøi trong vieäc quaûn lyù vaø laép ñaët thieát bò Hôn nöõa nhôø vaøo keát caáu goïn nheïcaùc thieát bò coù khaû naêng phuø hôïp vôùi caùc öùng duïng coù daïng töøng modun vôùi chieàu roäng toái thieåu cuûa tuû laø 375mm.

Cô caáu truyeàn ñoäng Cô caáu truyeàn ñoäng ñöôïc chia thaønh 2 phaàn , phaàn lieân ñoäng cô khí cho caùc chöùc naêng sau : – Ñoùng / môû tieáp ñieåm chính ñöôïc ñaët trong bình chaân khoâng.

– Ñoùng/ môû tieáp ñaát caàu dao caùch ly SF6.Chöùc naêng ngaét maïch cho pheùp thöïc hieäu chu kyø O-C-O maø khoâng caàn phuïc hoài loø xo ñoùng. Hoaït ñoäng ñoùng môû töø xa vôùi naêng löôïng tích tröõ bôûi ñoäng cô truyeàn ñoäng naïp loø, caùc cuoän daây ñoùng vaø môû vôùi nguoàn ñieän cung caáp töø 24Vcc ñeán 220V 50Hz vaø caùc cô caáu khoa nhaèm haïn cheá caùc thao taùc sai.

FLUVAC enclosureThe FLUVAC enclosure is madeusing AISI 304 stainless steel, deri-ved from a pressure bending proce-dure. This production system permits themaintenance of a high level of com-ponent quality standard. The weldingmethod used for connecting the twocomponents without the use ofadded material (T.I.G.), guarantees ajoining without blowholes and of ahigh resistance.The safety valve positioned in therear part of the enclosure guaranteesthe discharge of gases in case of aneventual “internal arc”, and withoutcausing breakage on the front part,where the personnel in charge forelectrical operations could be posi-tioned. The filling and control valve issealed in order to avoid accidentaltampering, and is placed at the frontside of the enclosure
