What it is…Anvil Luxury Metal is a patented process

that uses finely ground metal. The result is a finish that is 90-97% actual metal. It is not

a metal looking paint but rather “A Truly Metal Finish”.

Sprayed Metal• Our metal coating has all the

same characteristics of solid metal

• It will naturally patina over time and develop the lustre of aged metal

• If you chose to have your item look relatively the same over time, then a clear coat is required

It is real metal and should be treated as such. As metal ages it naturally develops its own look. To avoid damaging the metal finish and to protect the natural beauty of the finish, please follow the Care and Cleaning Instructions carefully. FOR HIGH POLISH AND HIGHLIGHT POLISH

•Without a protective coating these finishes will oxidize and age naturally.•Never use harsh cleaners (vim and any abrasive cleaners). These will damage the finish.•To avoid water spots, dry all surfaces after each use.•Water spots and unwanted patina may be removed by applying a small amount of non-abrasive metal polish such as “Cape Cod” with a soft microfiber cloth or gently with extra fine steel wool. Then buff with a soft cloth.

FOR ANTIQUE, OIL RUB, VERDI, AND RUST FINISHES

•These finishes have patina applied to enhance the finish.•Never use harsh cleaners (vim and any abrasive cleaners). These will damage the finish.•Mineral oil, oil based polish, wax or oil based cleaner may be used to maintain the oil rubbed appearance and minimize spotting. To remove unwanted green (due to moisture) from antique and oil rub finishes use a small amount of non-abrasive metal polish with a soft cloth.•Extra fine steel wool or a soft cloth along with a small amount of non-abrasive metal polish such as “Cape Cod” may be used to remove excess Verdi or to lighten oil rubbed and antique finishes.

FOR CLEARCOATED FINISHES

•These finishes have a protective coating that will protect against water spots and natural aging•Never use harsh cleaners; these will damage the clear coat.•Use a little bit of Murphy’s oil soap diluted with water and clean item as normal•To avoid water spots, dry all surfaces with a soft cloth. For cleaning and added protection a small amount of non-abrasive metal polish may be used as a barrier between clear coat and moisture.

Metall-FX Composite Metals: •Are non-electrically conductive•Anti-corrosive •Do not break down or contaminate•Do not produce liquid waste requiring hazardous material disposal•Are recycled metals

Metall-FX Composite Metals are a cost effective and environmentally sound alternative to solid cast pieces, forgings, metallic paints and coatings. The metal forging and metal plating industries have dangerous health consequences for employees as well as serious environmental damage from the manufacturing by-products. Metall-FX is an environmentally friendly alternative to the toxic by-products of these industries.
