ACADEMIC PROJECTS

“Synthesis of Hydrogels containing conducting polymers.”

Hydrogels of acrylamide and N,N bisacrylamide were synthesized using potassium per sulphate as initiator. Polyaniline (PANI) was synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization and the as-synthesized PANI

was incorporated into the hydrogel during polymerization. The hydrogel composites were studied for their basic swelling properties
