  • 1. Discussing the most important objects concerning with Hygiene, Safety and Environment in NO. 08 monthly field safety

    committees meeting & following up its decisions and

    recommendation.

    2. Issuing NO. 132 safety survey reports according to IMS procedures with its relevant corrective actions in CAR

    (Corrective Action Report).

    3. Supervision and establishing all safe procedures for all hot and dangerous jobs in all fields locations with total number of

    permits (2395) with total working days (23420).

    4. Safety surveys on Supply boats, Rigs and working barges assigned to the fields from safety point of view to ensure safe

    operation and condition.

    5. Issuing the necessary safety circulars concerning important safety alerts subjects as Driving, Loading and Unloading,

    Scaffolding erection etc, to ensure applying safe operation

    conditions.

    6. Arranging NO. (04) Meetings for the geographical committee of east of Suez Gulf and South Sinai.

  • Weekly training for F. F. crews to ensure team coordination and improve their performance to the recommended standard levels

    Practical training to most personnel at work site on how to use the available F. F. Extinguishers at all sites

    Training of EMC labors on Fire Fighting Techniques and equipments. Training of PTB personnel on PTW system and Risk assessment. Total No. of trainee in 2004 is 788 personnel

  • Monitoring and measuring the work environment condition such as lighting, noise, toxic gases . etc.

    Carried out through marine maintenance team periodical test of life boat at off-shore production platforms to ensure proper operation in case of emergency evacuation.

    Weekly and monthly test for Fire Fighting Systems on all around fields locations (plants, platforms) to ensure of its good condition and effective in case of any fire emergency.

    Combating Fieran Terminal loading pump fire. Carry out individual test and checks for all fixed F. F. systems in both marine and

    land production facilities in accordance with the concerned field divisions.

    Determining the necessary F. F. portable extinguishers on all field locations. All needed maintenance for portable F. F. extinguishers were carried out in all

    field locations.

    Combating oil pollution from unknown source found on our company coasts.

    About 10,000 m3 of cutting was transported to ECC.
