The word “Education” has sometimes been used in a very broad sense to
designate the totality of direct/ indirect influences that nature or other men are
able to exercise on human character and human intelligence. Education can’t be
indifferent from the influence of caste-social stratification persons and policies.
Its social character also gets affected. Teacher who is a inevitable pillar of any
education system. His character and role in this perspective have definitely
changed but his need has not. In other words teachers are the backbone of the
Educational System to enhance its quality and promote systematic reforms. The
quality of the teacher reflects the quality of that Society. It is said that no nation
can rise above the level of its teachers.
Education is the manifestation from within”. There is knowledge in all beings, it
only requires awakening, the task of a teacher being awaken the senses, so that
students may learn to use their eyes, ears and hands properly. Education is not
collecting the facts and information; it is concentration of mind and heart. Our
aim is not producing teachers, lawyers, businessmen but the most important
thing is to eradicate ignorance and negativity. “A teacher shows the path, it is
though who has to walk."

On 20th February, 2015, Ginni Devi P.G. College organized an "International

of Modern College of Professional Studies. Global Warming is the increase of
Earth's average surface temperature due to effect of greenhouse gases, such as
carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which
trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth. This is a type of greenhouse
effect.
Guests at the International Workshop on Global Worming & sustainable
Development
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. M. Broya, Head, Weather & Climate
Department, Ethiopia (S. Africa). While inaugurating the Workshop he said that
“Climate change is a major global challenge. But it is not of our making. It is
the result of global warming that came from prosperity and progress of an
industrial age powered by fossil fuel, but we face consequences. We see the risk
to our farmers. We are concerned about rising oceans that threaten our 7,500 km
of coastline and 1,300 islands. We worry about the glaciers that feed our rivers
and nurture our civilization.”

Speaking on India’s position on the climate talks, Mr. M. Broya said equity and
common but differentiated responsibility should be the bedrock of all elements
of the proposed deal.
He also called for the continuation of conventional energy sources such as coal
and said there cannot be any place for unilateral steps that can hinder the growth
of developing countries. We assume advanced nations will take ambitious
targets. It’s not a question of historical responsibility. They also have room for
emission cuts. Climate justice demands with lethal carbon space, developing
countries must have enough room to grow.

January, 2015. The topic of the day was “Discourse on Youth and Conflict
Resolution”. Students from Modern College of Professional Studies, Jamia
Millia Islamia, Ginni Devi College, IGNOU etc participated in the conference.
First of all, sir gave his introduction and then all the students gave their
introduction individually. He said that all of us gathered here because today
Gandhi Ji came back to India from South Africa. That time, Gandhi Ji was
young but he had no anger as compared to today’s youth. Then, sir discussed on
why the youth fails to achieve their dreams. Then, all the students gave their
views and said that we are not able to give proper and good education to our
new generation. Some said that reason behind the anger of the youth is the
financial problem and some students told that the confidence is the main reason
behind the failure of youth. Sapna, student of Amity University said that today
we eat fast food, use new modern biological methods to prepare fertilizers.
These things are harmful for the body of new generation and also create anger
in the youths.
This way, the discussion held in a healthy manner. All the opinions were
welcomed in a healthy way by the experts. It was a fruitful experience for all the
students.
