I am very glad to speak with you through this annual report on behalf of
MADURAI SEED. It is once again the time of the year where we stop and look back at
our achievements of the past year. It is also the time where we appreciate every little
effort of people who believed in us and extended their unconditional support.
When we look back at the last year, momentously MADURAI SEED has sowed
happy and potential hope among children, young people and their parents. And also
the sowing shows a positive, great success.
Children and young people had more programs to attend, built more life skills,
and were happier and looked forward to coming to our programs, while more and
more volunteers found their purpose in life at MADURAI SEED. We can take pride in
the fact that MADURAI SEED today has twenty seven young people who have studied
schooling and now work with MADURAI SEED as volunteers. They are the leaders of
the future and have started taking on that mantle.
And also we break up the big obstacles for children and young people and help
them to enter and keep on study in schools and colleges, because Education is the
only advantage that changes their life. It is the strong belief of MADURAI SEED. We
can impact hundreds of lives positively and transform them forever. I excitedly look
forward to the year ahead filled with new adventures, achievements and lots of
exciting works.
I wish to thank especially Friends of MADURAI SEED and Asha for Education
and each one of the individuals, partner organizations, volunteers, supporters and
well-wishers for continuing their works with MADURAI SEED. Thank You!

pleased that there are thousands of books are for me, as I can’t

to have a plenty of literature and language books. The language
books of Oxford Publications are valuable for communicative

Yes! In this hot summer, those 6 pleasant days mostly loved by the children
has come. MADURAI SEED’s Yearly summer camp was held on between mornings
9.30 to evening 7’o clock on 15.5.09 to 20.5.09. 72 children and 10 youth participated

The daily activities of the Vasantha Mugam, were planned on the basis of
some thoughts like introduction of world cinema, making of new approach in interest,
bringing up the team spirit among all, creating healthy competition among the
children and exhibiting their inner soul’s effort, explaining the community life
through the cultural program activities, providing practices to show out their
leadership quality.
Every day morning, at the beginning of the camp song practice is given by
volunteer Muruga Pandi and 6 songs composed by him were taught. Children were
