Announcements

It was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the LORD, and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD, “For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

Help!! Help!! – Triplett Gift Card program is in need of sales associates.

Jim & Margaret have done a fantastic job for 7 years and are retiring.

PLEASE see Barbara Odom if you could take one Sunday a month to sit

in the Narthex and sell cards before and after worship services.

All profits benefit the building fund. Thank you.

ANDY THOMPSON FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS – BBQ Butts & Chicken

halves were pit roasted, a profit of $756.00 for the Andy Thompson

Scholarship fund was realized. Thank you to all who bought the delicious

meat.

Save the dates: Please phone, email, or leave a note in the Office

Manager’s inbox for ANY 2017 events that have not already received a

confirmation. Please note, even if an event has been an annual

occasion for many years, a notification is requested this year.

Facilities cannot be guaranteed without a confirmation. THANK YOU.

ARTISTS AND IDEAS - LOGO DRAWINGS – thank you to all who

have submitted ideas for a church identifier, a logo. There are a lot

of very clever ideas. If you are still working on your logo drawings,

please submit them to the church office by November 30th.

IT’S A PARTY AND YOU ARE INVITED

CHRISTMAS PARTY: LaMont & Beverly Pierce invite each of you to the PIERCE FAMILY 2nd annual CHRISTMAST PARTY. Saturday, December 3rd, 5-7pm 691 Mazeppa Road, Mooresville. Light Christmas hor d’oeuvres & punch.

BABY SHOWER It’s a BOY…. And a GIRL!! Jesse and Kristen (Murdock) Carter are having twins! Kristen is Jack & Barbara Murdock’s daughter. Join us for a baby shower on Saturday, December 3rd

2 to 4 pm in the CLC Social Hall. Jesse and Kristen are registered at Babies R Us. ** Because this is a high risk pregnancy and because of lower expected birth weights, the twins are at high risk for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The doctors are strongly recommending SIDS monitors. If you are in need of a gift idea, a financial donation toward the purchase of the SIDS “alert booties” will be greatly appreciated.

SHOPPING MADE EASY

Local merchants are filled with reminders that the season for decorating and gift giving is near. Christmas is certainly a time to remember those who are dear to us. Often we look for something very simple that says, “I care,” but, sometimes choosing that perfect gift can be

difficult. If this is the case, come by the Gift Card Station and let us help you. We stock many cards that are frequently used by our customers but, have access to many others. Stop by soon. It’s always a pleasure to assist our shoppers. THANK YOU.
